Billboard-charting country duo, the Moonshine Bandits, are back and ready to crank up the energy with the release of their brand-new single, “Boots on Bars.” Known for their signature blend of country grit, hip-hop beats, and high-octane energy, Moonshine Bandits’ latest release celebrates country nightlife, good times, and letting loose with friends. “Boots on Bars” is an anthem that embodies the spirit of the honky-tonk-living in the moment, getting lost in the music, and leaving worries at the door.
“We wrote this song for those folks who believe in hard work, good times, and living life to the fullest,” commented Bird. “The song ‘Boots on Bars’ came from the creative and very talented mind of Brad Cox. When I heard the beat, I thought it was something to get the ladies fired up in honky-tonks and dive bars across the country.”
Big Tex added, “I can visualize the World Famous Hogs n’ Heifers dancers stomping their boots on the bar to this song in Vegas!”
The new single will be featured on Moonshine Bandits’ forthcoming album, 'Confessions of an Outlaw', which showcases powerful collaborations with Nashville heavyweights like Chris Wallin (known for his work with Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, and Trace Adkins) and Ira Dean (Rascal Flatts, Montgomery Gentry), who famously penned Aaron Lewis’s No. 1 hit “Am I the Only One.”
The highlight of the writing sessions was the opportunity to write and record a song inside the 1972 historic home of country music legends Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter. The home retains memories of Waylon, including his iconic logo on the floors throughout the house and even on the bottom of the swimming pool. The Bandits had the privilege to write in this legendary studio in Tennessee and see his writing room, where he created some of the most iconic country songs ever-an inspiring experience for their own music.
'Confessions of an Outlaw' sees the Moonshine Bandits stepping outside their comfort zone to evolve their signature sound. Recorded during writing sessions in Myrtle Beach, Atlanta, and Nashville earlier this year with producer Brad Cox, Confessions of an Outlaw is the most mature and confident album in the group’s catalog. For the first time in their career, the Bandits were able to lock themselves in the studio without the distraction of an impending tour, focusing on each song with precision. The country duo was joined in the studio by familiar friends, including The Lacs, Sarah Ross, Demun Jones, and Brandon Hartt.
