No matter your views on Hitler. That was a very well crafted figure. While I could never see myself owning one for display. I could defiantly see myself owning an AH-Chan. It would be less of a "You have a Hitler Figure? YOUR SICK!" and more of a "You have a Hitler SS Cosplay Anime Girl Figure? You Sicko!" I can live with the second view. Well technically he wasn't a Fascist. Nazis and Fascist do not exactly get along very often, even in the 1920/30s they were at each others throats about as often as the Nazis were with Communist. Heck Hitler had the leader of Fascist Austria assassinated and his number 2 was arrested and put in prison for years. A Fascist believes in using Nationalism to bring all the social groups within society together. The Nazis believed in creating a Racial State. Fascist and Nazi's concept of nationalism are entirely different. A Nazi's concept of the nation is literally based on the Race/Ethnicity. A Fascist is not. This is why Mussolini often mocked Hitler's racist concept of Nationalism, favorite quote being "Race is more of a feeling, there is no purity." ie basically stating Race doesn't exist. Yes Mussolini said that. When I called modern, I was doing that in reference to the fact that there are flags for various bits of Germany going back for literally a thousand years. The bit about the modern federal republic was nothing more than talking shit about Merkel. btw, the yellow/gold, dates back to flags from the 9th century. I see no reason for the general color scheme to change in the couple of hundred years from now till Momongas time. And since his old world is implied to be an extension of ours, with it being a corporate hell/environmental clusterf**k distopia, pretty standard types tbh, I have no reason to think otherwise from the evidence presented so far. Honestly, I am not sure where the red comes into play with German flags, but that is neither here nor there. If so, that yellow/gold might have been taken from Momonga from some future German empire..... but where did they get it? The yellow/gold itself, the Emperor of the Romans, aka the Holy Roman Emperor was a black eagle on a yellow field, which afaik gets it from the title that would later be called The King of the Romans (or maybe it was the other way around, early and high medieval history are not my general area of interest but technically speaking, you don't get accounts of "germans" until the 1000s or so) edit: fun fact: when talking history, "modern" goes back to sometime around the 1500s-1600s, as it directly follows the end of the late medieval age. Which happens at different times in different places, generally speaking southern places get into the modern age earlier due to the Italian renaissance being what kickstarted it all.
