It's awesome to see someone put the real effort into making an FXDR all it can be. Lookwise, as soon as you get rid of the clunky stock exhaust, rear fender, and air intake, the bike really becomes a clean looking sick bike. Those parts created an appearance that alienated a lot of potential buyers, so HD really failed to give this bike a proper chance. But for people into customizing, the potential was so obvious. Again, super awesome bike! You guys spared no effort or expense!

you turned it into a sports bike, fantastic. Fit some Sportglide pegs or something to make it all work in the corners. That will give those R1s a hurryup!!

I recognize the Ricks mudguard fender that’s on the one in the video, but I’ve never seen the piece that’s attached to the rear bottom of the frame just in front of the rear tire. Could you please tell me what that is?

This is the motor build I plan to do on my Sport Glide. No BSTs for the cost but at least the 180 isn’t as heavy. For now the 135HP 134TQ 114 is fun.

On that shocked I have the same one and it does not have collars on it the preload is the adjustment on the side

bobcat would have done much better. Fatcat has plenty of clearance too. I have a FXDR and ive run both. Just switched to a burns and no issues

What is the difference between the regular fxdr and the fxdrs?

They are the same thing. Like how the Lowrider ST is the regular name but its classification name is FXLRST. Harley I guess didn’t bother giving it a regular name like the lowriders. That’s why you see FXDR and FXDRS.
