Actually dhanush in this film is suffering from bipolar disorder where after some days he started to hallucinate things.. In this scene he was hallucinating, the green color peoplw is his hallucinations. It tells him to either kill her or to die.. He was sooo depressed and lifeless, at one he came to janani, where she was sleeping, he says a final goodbye and he kill himself by writing suicide note.. This film is such a heartbrreakn one🥺..

In this particular scene Dhanush commits suicide as they shown it. The green characters you see in the scene are his hallucinations. He hallucinates as there are other people in his mind and they are controlling his actions. The trauma of his girlfriend and his buddy leaving him for better life made him mentally ill. After she came back to his life everything was going normal as no symptoms were picked up. Later he finds out his mental condition and he couldn't say it to her. He thinks he could ruin her life by saying his condition. As she would never leave him and find a better life. So he tries to avoid her even he didn't want to. In the before scene of this climax he almost tried to kill her, due to the voices which commands him to do so. He could not take the thought of him being a threat to her. He thought he would put his one and only love in danger because he not in control of himself. So, he unwillingly sacrifices his perfect and beautiful life with her; on the thought of instead putting her in a much worse condition. And the scene which comes before his suicide (with her in the motorcycle) is the symbolizes his unending love to her. Even he going to put an end to his life, she is the only thing good happened to him. Their love story is so heart whelming and the entire story is a must watch.
