@@ggpaghi2990 in your original comment you mentioned E-M1 Mark II. I am an Olympus Visionary, that comes with access to any equipment I want from Olympus. The E-M1 Mark III was on loan. If there is anything that I have learned, there is no free lunch in this world.

@@ggpaghi2990 no worries! I won't want the E-M1 Mark III as a gift. I will buy one later, the E-M1 Mark II can't last forever.

It's great Olympus packs so many features into the OM-D cameras, but without you Robin, for the vast majority of us, they would go unknown. A huge thanks. 👏👏👏

I use the level gauge so much, I am crippled without :D However, one issue I have with using dual cards its that when it starts on second card, the file naming seems to reset, instead of continuing..it makes things..complicated. Was actually a couple of pointers from this video that added to my already fun experience with the om1 mk2 and 3 and has now made it even better, thanks Robin!!!

The highlight/shadow, level gauge & histogram info is going to come in handy, especially the highlight/shadow clipping which I hadn't worked out how to enable yet. I didn't even realise it was possible to switch between cards in playback either and was always annoyed when I couldn't find the thing I was looking for Your tips on this channel have been extremely helpful. You've helped me unlock the full potential of my camera and fix the annoying little quirks. So, truly, thank you!

Great video series! Olympus Visionary Scott Bourne always says to read a part of your manual every day & do it again and again. Now I see why. The frame count limiter will be great in the future. I shot over 500 images of an 8mm insect yesterday. Reviewing all those was tedious. I've already set my limiters for the next time out. Thanks!

More excellent tips, Robin! I didn't know about the frame counter limiter (I saw it while browsing the menus, but didn't know what it did). That will be really helpful! Keep up with the tip videos, as there are so many hidden gems in the Olympus menu (have you done a tip for "Lens Information" yet? A must for those using manual lenses).

Thanks so much for the 'focus peaking' info. I never knew what it was when scrolling through the menu lists and had no idea what it did. I don't use manual focus very often but now that you have shown this tip, it's something I'll use all the time. I must add though, when the 'magnify' setting is switched to 'on' as well, I find the focus peaking feature doesn't work or is that just me.

Hi Robin, thanks for another informative and cheerful video. Did you find that is impossible to deselect the art-1 mode (pop-art)? that was my experience with the e-m5 mark ii and reading online it's happened to many. Perhaps a bug? I've eventually surrendered and now use it as a sort of extreme vivid mode :)

Hello Robin, nice, helpful video as always, thank you for the effort. One question: Can you say at analog to you first tip = card change: how to set card 1 + 2 to different functions? I mean for example where are the settings to choose 1 for RAW and 2 for JPEGS or 1 for photos and 2 for videos..? If you have made a video to this before - can you write the name of the video or give a link...thank you very much for sharing so much tips before in using Olympus cameras - it was a pleasure to see and it helps really!!! Thanks a lot for your tutorials Robin. I'm not perfectly fluent in english but you make thinks really understandable and I really apreciate. I've got a question. I'm curious to know your opinion about the auto stabilisation S-IS auto. Do you turn it off when you shoot on a tripod? The camera says it stabilise only when it moves but generally, people says we should turn it off. What's your opinion for omd cameras (I have a OMD E-M5 MARK 2). Thank you again for all you're doing

How to setting hss offshoe with transmitter on omd em 10 ii ? I use godox tt685 + godox x1t. When i put the trigger on shoe, the camera not allowed me use shutter speed higher than 200, such 1/320 to 1/4000, the shutter speed always turn to 1/200

The focus peaking when MF is enabled is very useful, but unfortunately the 17mm 1.8 lens does not function in the same way as the 12-40 2.8. With the 12-40 moving the focus clutch enables MF and peaking is enabled. This does not happen with the 17mm lens. This is a very annoying bug.

Thanks Robin. Specially the one for changing the view for the different cards was helping. This switches as well the default card being chosen in the Oi share app. (found the switch in the app as well now). Do you recommend raw or jpg view when reviewing photos on the camera? I'm using card 1 for raw and 2 for jpg (only as backup)

How do you turn the frame count limiter 'on'. I did as you say in the video and then pressed the shutter. Boof. Loads of photos. Cheers.
@kingwuffa85524 жыл бұрын
You don't turn it 'on'. Move the arrow down to the frame count number, right arrow to set the number, and then hit OK three times. That set's the frame count. Had the same problem myself to begin with.
