Moore League Cross Country El Dorado Meet 2022

The top distance runners in the Moore League met at El Dorado Park for an exciting opener to the 2022 league season.

He stepped on a pine cone 1K before the finish line and had trouble walking after the race. We took him to urgent care last night to rule out a stress fracture and the x-ray came back negative. He still cant walk without a limp so he'll skip school today but the team is hoping to see him back in practice very soon. Jason should be fine and he's eager to get back on to what he enjoys most, running. Congrats to ALL Long Beach and Lakewood runners! A lot of fast times by many from all Moore League schools.

When you’re Rhone this is what he trained hard for his times have gotten better over this past year and I think he is a senior so he should be competing at Parras level. What he did at the end look thats part of the game there so much adrenaline going on and both are top tier competitors you see that all day on Sunday football so why any different in a xc race. Wishing Parra a speedy recovery take care of that ankle and dont rush back ankle injury should take 6-9 weeks to heal take your time. Excited to see a great Moore League finals!

Clovis Boys Championship Race 10/8: Jason Parra - 18th place (15:23) Cameron Rhone - 22nd place (15:33) Good races for the two. Will just have to anticipate what League Finals will look like when it comes to the local champion.
