Bhai ...abhi Jo aapne btaya end main ek marking agar change nahi Hui within 1 min...means wo 80% set sahi hai ...but phir Hume break ko dheere dheere release bhi karna hota hai na ...kyunki jab hum release karenge toh ek point pe wo render karega ...n phir wo hum Mark karenge on break spindle .....so that while mooring ops crew n off knows that once the break has been tight to this point the break is applied properly .... Can u just confirm ??

Achha ok..... U r talking about warping drum..... The warp end acts like a locking device, which prevents the rope from sliding off the barrel when pulled excessively. Warp end is extremely important for moving the ship along the berth for alignment purposes. This is done by fastening one end of the ropes or wires to the bollards on the shore and the other end around the warp end of the winch.

@@capt.sarvesh ropes are orderd bais sdmbl.ropes mbl can be 5% above or less than sdmbl. Also in your video you are testing break holding test which is incorrect. Winch break is always tested for rendering not for holding.

What you said is correct, that ropes are ordered as per sdmbl. But what you don't know is that this video is too old and earlier break holding test is carried out, but now a days they changed the name to brake rendering test. Both has the same test and same purpose. I think this time I made to clear your confusion.
