MOOSE HUNTING for 2 DAYS in Newfoundland’s Backcountry ! ( Moose 2024 PT 2/2 )

Nice to see young man carrying meat out on their backs. I carried many moose over the years and the longest carry I had was 3.5 kms. My dad carried for 12 straight hours. There were no roads to access the back country back then. I started carrying quarters when I was 13 years old. I still have my very first packboard. I have several, I sure was in some shape back in those days. I passed up on a lot of big bulls in hopes of getting a small 4 point this year but all I managed to call in were big bulls. No luck on the small ones. I did manage to get myself a nice dry cow about a mouth ago. I love calling out moose. But all that aside, in years to come, you guys will look back on this hunt with fond memories. Seems like over the years, the ones that required the most work and effort provided me with my best memories. Don't change what you are doing and keep those videos coming. Respect the effort... Appreciate you filming it for us, and if you keep doing things in a good way, good things will happen for you.
