In 1988 I moved to a place called Norman Wells with a friend . A few days had passed and I was looking for work . Are neighbor was in need of a helper so i went out to give him a hand on the Mackenzie river to flood the ice roads . Very nice guy he was ,and his wife a very nice lady, fed me well. His name Stan Stevens . Thanks for the video brought back some good memories .👍

A tip for when you’re calling - wait for him to stop and listen and call when he’s standing still. He can’t hear you when he’s walking or when he’s raking brush, he’s making too much noise of his own to hear you
