I really appreciate how you just address issues and go straight to making the trans work how you want rather than working within the limited scope of altering what is there to make it do what you want. If I ever loose my mind and start running an automatic I will sadly have to invest in this stuff. LOL

I have one of your RMVB in a ‘65 727, behind a 528 stroker. And a RMVB from Art Carr in a 2004r. Love them both.

My 69 RR with mildly built 383 727 reverse manual valve body shifted by Winters sending power to a Dana 60. This combo worked fine. Sold the RR 11 years ago. Also I had a 69 Satelite with a reverse manual valve body. I loved those reverse manual vale body 727 trans.

Diesel runaway is best stalled in gear. They dont make much power when they run off so 4th gear with a locked T/C and standing on the brake will kill it. Had a Mack AI400 run off on me once. Turbo failure pumped oil into the CAC. Once I realized it I just stood on the brake in whatever gear I was in. Killed it pretty easy

I have a question, my 67 GTX 440 with a 1969 727 TF had a reverse manual valve body and worked great. I decided I wanted to make the car a little more street friendly and installed a auto valve body that I got from a friend with a shift kit installed. After installation a drove the car about 20 miles, then it lost reverse gear and will move forward somewhat(slips and then catches). So my question is could installing the wrong year model valve body cause this quick failure? I did not check the year model of the valve body, also it was full of fluid and checked in neutral before the drive. Thanks for your time! Love the videos!

Mr Cope I enjoyed the video and understand why you prefer the reverse pattern, great job. But I have some questions about the 518/46RH& RE . What are the differences and witch would be the easiest to install behind my son's 65 Belvedere w/392 gen lll hemi and my 65 Belvedere w/ 383 b engine I appreciate any help so we can get the right transmissions before we purchase the parts from you thank you & Mopar too ya

Automatic shift, the 518/46RH works best. Reverse manual, it doesn't matter. both will work. But the 518/46RE does take a regular Chrysler speedometer as the RE does not.

So the only way to get a revers manual valve body is to have a billet half ?

Also thank you for your content really appreciate it I bought a trans the core the other day and it has a manual valve body I was trying to figure out what direction it is

Last question on your web site you sell a 727-904 accumulator blocking rod you prefer to use this instead of drilling holes in the valve body’s lock up circuit

Not to mention that forward pattern manual valve bodies are gay.

Is there any ET difference between the 2? I’ve been running a FMVB for a decade.
