Im pretty sure the reason nation does so good in the beginning is because he's a bit too predictable. he does good in the beginning because people dont know what he's gonna do. Then he starts doing bad as people can predict what he's going to do. He needs to mix it up and add more moves. You want to predict others but not be predictable yourself. And ofc practice because everyone starts somewhere. but im pretty sure if nation learned a few more moves and kept switching it up he'd do a lot better, but thats just from my experience.
