Moraine Lake Hike | Banff National Park | Parks Canada

We made a second trip to Moraine Lake so that Casey could experience it with us. Caitlyn decided to have another early morning trip and the three of us had a great time. The weather was a little nicer for this trip than it was for our first. It was nice to not have to tote the umbrellas with us.
We switched up the order...normally we would have done The Rock Pile first, while our legs were the freshest. We felt like with the sunlight the way that it was, we had a chance of better colors by doing the hike along the shoreline first. The Rock Pile is short enough that it's not too bad.
