Yeah, there are quite a few scenes in this show that are kinda random even IN context. Like at around 4:00 when Clay leans his head on Coach Stopframe’s shoulder and talks in a kinda fruity way, and then Stopframe pulls out a chair for him, says “aww, come to papa” in the deepest voice ever, takes his shoes off for him, starts massaging his foot and sings a weird “lullaby” song that he made up, with lyrics that don’t make any sense (“hush little lamby bear” what? I guess it’s a nickname, but still... “close your furry lids”? Why are the eyelids furry? What human has furry eyelids? That’s nasty!). The cherry on top? They’re doing this in front of EVERYONE. I’m surprised that no one got onto them for being anything other than straight. I guess it’s kinda nice he’d do that for Clay, but it’s kind of a random scene.
