Great tips! I too love Furls. Recently have dropped two of them and tip broke off. Devastated. So now surround my floor area in big fluffy blankets!! Lol

Very good review. I work with the Tulip Yarn Art microfiber all the time. I use a metal Tulip brand hook-- my fav for Irish crochet or lace freeform crochet.

What I like about Tulip hooks for lace crochet is that you can get them with plastic handles which is better than the rubber handles which gives me sore spots from the friction. That microfiber does misbehave. Reminds me of working with rayon. Ugh

I really like the Furls Andromeda ones they are so pretty :) the colour way just speaks to me haha I really like that green, turquoise hook you have with the yellow head which line is it ? Is it their Virgo hooks? :) the one you got with a yellow head is absolutely beautiful 💚🤍

I freaking love my Furls Odysseys. They’re not just more comfortable in my hand, but my stitches are more consistent- they make me a better crocheter! I have a few Furls Streamlines, and you’re right they’re just gorgeous! I’m not a fan of the wooden ones though, as you said I find them to be snaggy. I agree. I tried a hook with the colored grip hooks, and DID NOT LIKE, the short metal shaft. So I'm with you. Not a fan with the sudden change on the shaft.

I use the clover Amour hooks, but I knife grip, so I don’t have that problem.
