Morbid Angel - Evil Spells - Guitar Cover (+Tabs)

Hello hello!
After many weeks of careful studying, here’s my take on the closing song from MA’s debut. It might not seem, but it is, so far, their most challenging song, at least for me.
As with every Morbid song, the tabs out there are plain wrong so it was as much fun tabbing as it was playing, and features a lot of typical idiosyncrasies of Trey’s playing which you can find in later albums.
For the tone, I built up on the tone of my previous MA cover to try and get even closer. I used Two-Notes’ Genome with a JCM 900 clean channel IR with a Rat in front, using the settings that float around online, and a tad of EQ to get the tone where I wanted. The right channel also has some phaser in front of the amp.
Backing track was made using Moises.ai. I only covered the rhythm tracks, the solos are from the original recording!

Hey dude, I don't have a Patreon or any other membership thingy going on for two reasons: first and foremost, all these videos are made out of my passion for this music and instrument so I never intended to leverage the videos to make money. The second reason is that I do not really have anything more to offer to potential members of a Patreon. That's been the logic so far. I am really flattered that you suggest it though. @TbombGuitar yeah dude, I know these videos take a long time to do/record. my suggestion is some kind of early access to the videos, maybe even some exclusive "sketches" or something similar. but that's just my opinion, you put out some high quality tabs AND videos. and I think some of us really want to support the channel too

Thanks a lot dude. More Bolt Thrower? Absolutely, in fact my next one most likely is some classic BT, maybe even two songs. As for Necrophagist, I think the tabs out there are very good and people play it much better than I can today, so I prefer to focus on underrated or very poorly transcribed songs. But maybe one day I'll have the chops to play their songs!
