My absolute favorite live video of Morbid.. Sound is great. Best album ever! RAW EXTREME METAL at its best. The album itself captures the same RAW SOUND. Trey's lava is unmatched!

This is one of the best underground concerts recorded on youtube that I have ever seen. I would have paid top dollar for this on ebay in the 90's. Keep it morbid, my fellow angels.

Jesus Pete was fast! It's incredible that the first guy playing like this could reach 250bpm, much more remarkable than guys doing 280bpm today! And it all sounds so vital and organic but still tight, compared to todays "techblasting". Formulas and World Downfall are the best blast-albums in history, it has never after that sounded so flying, bpm isn't everything.
@Katatoniiaa9 жыл бұрын
+celinean1 Indeed man!!! You perfectly expressed my feelings. Its really a pity that there are no Pete`s drum cams from this era. All those modern tech death bpm fucked up onanists would be embarrased. And here, Sandoval simply slays!!! Long live Mr Commando!!!
@isiscruz90759 жыл бұрын
Crazy thing os. Yea drummers today may go 280-300 bpm. but they all play the 2 foot blast. Pete always and o ly did the one foot blast! amazing. I myself am trying to get faster then this with the one foot blast. I have some vids. but yea you're right. people say pete wasn't technical and crao. no way. he had feel to the music. something drummers most of them imo dont.
@postlex7 жыл бұрын
celinean1 Origin’s Antithesis and Entity come close imo
@murdahorse4 жыл бұрын
Exactly, I think it comes down to Pete doing it with one foot most of the time. It adds this subtle but noticeable sense of urgency and a bit of chaos to it. 2-footed might be more precise but it sounds too relaxed.
@christianeasley7673 жыл бұрын
Nothing compares to this time of Pete Sandoval!!!!! He went past the limitations of drumming on formulas!!!! 😊🥁❤️🎶
