we should'nt doubt why theres a word "Nephi", because its originally compose by a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or known as mormons:-) Nephi is a prophet in the Book of Mormon.. and if im not mistaken .. Yes He is! Nephi is one of the Prophets who testified of the divinity of the Savior, Jesus Christ. They're 600 years before the birth of Jesus Christ and are also descendants of Joseph who is the Son Jacob. His father, Lehi is also a prophet and was commanded by the Lord to preach repentance unto the people in Jerusalem but they would not listen.Because of the hardness of the hearts of the people, He was commanded by the Lord to take his family out of Jerusalem until they were lead by the Lord to cross the great waters unto the Promised Land in Americas.
