Mordhau War Axe Gameplay - Old Waxel Gets An Update

Today's Mordhau gameplay video features a revamped build for my War Axe loadout, known as Waxel. It's been a while since I last messed around with the War Axe, and while it is nice to be able to throw it these days, it's still not my preferred axe to use.
In Mordhau, the War Axe and Battle Axe often get mixed up by new players. An easy way to determine what's the difference between a War Axe and a Battle Axe in Mordhau is to look at the blades. The War Axe has blades on both sides of the axe head. The Battle Axe has blades only on one side of the axe head.
People prefer different axes for different reasons in Mordhau, but generally you'll see the War Axe used the most in big team fight modes like Frontlines and Invasion because it has low hit-to-kill numbers across the board. This means that it will take less hits to take out an enemy than other weapons need to do the same.
To put it in perspective, in Mordhau, the War Axe only needs two hits on anything but level 3 leg armor to take down an enemy at full health. This allows you to sweep in on a distracted enemy and either claim the kill or the assist with only a click or two, at most.

Haven't kept up to date with your channel, have you given up on Chivalry 2 and gone back to Mordhau? Do you think Mordhau is better?

Mordhau has better gameplay, overall. I cover Chiv updates when they’re released, but there’s not a lot of people playing, lots of bots filling servers and the server browser was empty.

Im sure u already know, but you can double-riposte enemy attacks, like u dont have to wait for your attack to finish to riposte again (like at 1:10)

You mean double parry? Riposting is just the swing off the parry, which is what I did and why I died.

Big question, how do you get that much gold, I can never find a server that gives enough to be worth it to grind

The more you play the more you get. There’s no boosted gold servers since you only get gold from legit servers. They do double gold weekend sometime so just keep your eyes open for that.
