@8:00 Autocannon templates also need to be touching each other. [See Diagram 10 on p70 of the core book] So if you're laying two templates on an enemy squad, the first template can cover soldiers A and B, but the second template might need to cover B and C, which will only result in 3 rolls to wound. While it's possible to generate 8 wound rolls from 4 hits, it's dependent on the enemy's formation. Which, incidentally, is good advanced tactics: when facing autocannons, loosening your formation or stringing out in line will make you less vulnerable to enemy autocannon HE templates!

When using HE, a light autocannon only has Pen+1. The Pen+2 is when using AT rounds

Like the SD Kfz 251/21 Drilling as it's smaller and almost as good as the Wirbelwind and is 100 points cheaper. Only the DV value is where the 251 is lacking over the Wirbel as the 251 is at 7 and the Wirble is at 9 for armor.

One other benefit is how it can be a deterant, just by it's threat to infantry Your opponent doesn't want to be in range of it

Can you play bolt action as a tank line? Everytime I see bolt action, it's a lot of troops with anti tank or tank support.

typically, no. every platoon has only one armor slot.

You got Tank War supplement, otherwise like what was posted you usually have only an armored car/recce vehicle and a single tank/ self propelled artillery, or anti aircraft or tank slot.
