I got a Tip for you guys: Map the LFO phases to macros, also lfo shape is nice to map and pretty much anything (just experiment). Then hit random until you like the sound. I also like to automate the lfo phase with a really long curve so then it gets even more hypnotic. Also changing the phase after a drop gives nice variations. If someone knows a way to randomise midi notes with one button press, please tell me! I dont mean with chance and stuff just lets say I want a 1 bar loop which always repeats and i want to hit random on this loop until i like it. Thank you in advance. Und wirklich gutes Video! Feier ich sehr, mach weiter so. Ich kam nie auf die Idee diese Drum Synths für Nicht-Drums zu nutzen. Mein Abo hast du.

Really inspiring stuff. I would love to see how you do this on the modular ;-)
@MordioMusic3 жыл бұрын
That make me happy to hear! I have to say on the modular system you just need a OSCILLATIOR that gos to a filter and find the perfect modulation with an lfo or an envelope.
@dashbad3 жыл бұрын
@@MordioMusic haha, yes I have been trying and come up with some nice sounds. Very easy when you say it like that obviously. For this one its clearly the fluid morph between hi/band/low that gives it the movement. Found this hard to do with the modular. Crossfading between filter types doesn't sound quite as fluid. As I say, I like these videos as they make me start experimenting even if it ends up going in a different direction
@MordioMusic3 жыл бұрын
@@dashbad Yes, this is not easy. If u use superfast modulations and wav forms with gabs, like Bin or square, you can have these holy moments where the filter jump from low to high superfast. Trust me, this sound amazing with some room on top.

Hi, Great presentation Mordio. I hope to see more interesting conceptos with Ableton like the one here with the kick/bassline. I have a question whats the specification of your Laptop? How many LFO you are able to use at one Ableton session till theCPU overloads?

This mac have 32ram and a i9 So it’s quit stacked. But you always can build just one system and re sample to some channels and change it completely again.

switch the filter type and you get the morph filter or you have an old version of Ableton.
