I loved Mordred when their first album ( fools game ) came out! This is one of those bands that stood alone.... and got better with every album. Truly one of the best bands of their era!

Had Fool's Game when it came out 1988. You can hear how Faith No More was probably influenced by these guys around 1989 when The Real Thing came out.

I remember when they hit, I fuckin loved them, ahead of there time and also doing the funk thing that was big in 90 & 91. But unfortunately Teen Spirit hit in September 91. They played Mordred and Nirvana on headbangers ball in this one section I forget what it was called but it's where they put all the bands that couldn't be labeled. But great Great band!

Faith no more stole their sound from mordred. Mordred was around in the early 80s. Fnm came much later

they should put their old work on spotify, would reach out to much more masses,, more supporters=better chances for more tours i guess.. Their old records are incredibly good.. many bands could learn from them when it comes to melodic, even today... hope they never leave the style and sound of the old works -> it still works:) There arent many bands that make cds where every fucking song is good.. in this life, vision, fools game - every song is incredible...
