@@HaloMoonMusic There’s the key selling point. Use the awfulboard when you want to quit a band but are too nonconfrontational or bad w words to speak up. A band I was in had an intentionally horrible tune called “commercial suicide” and if we got sick of playing at a particular club we would basically start out the set w that tune and play it nonstop til they asked us to leave.

I'm blown away by the quality of all these pedals - the sound quality, the lack of noise, the range of tones and the original interpretations of familiar sounds are all excellent. These guys are dead serious about doing a great job and may have priced their pedals so low that they get overlooked as serious contenders. Wow.

That distortion did the`Green Day thing’ faithfully, straight out the box, mate. And, I’ve found myself appreciating low mids more and more, the more recording I do. All my bright gains I typically end up EQing low. My amp is a Vox with only bass and treble controls, where the bass is set to roughly 3o’clock , and the treble to maybe 10 o’clock, and then I equalise my mids with an EQ at the end of mi board, in which I raise them in a rough parabola with the peak at 1kHz and perhaps +5 dB. That’s my typical amp setting for recording, and I’ll often only vary the eq of my effect pedals within that context before getting it on disc. Anyroad, just wanted to note that this series of effects seems to accurately reproduce many of my fave 90s tones. These effects tones brought back so many memories.

Man, that EQ is a sincerely unique and impressive pedal. I feel like it should've made the board; it covers some of the distortion needs while providing so much utility. Also, gotta go with the vibe over the chorus. It's a good chorus, but c'mon. An affordable univibe!

I say replace the octave with the chorus and keep that Vibe as well. I think the vibe is unique in it's price bracket, and really suits your style, but that chorus is killer too, almost has a CE1 kinda vibe to it, which I love

When you said you might replace the Univibe with the chorus on the affordaboard l hollered "NO!!!" at considerable volume. Run 'em side by side, sure, that's a great sounding chorus. But nothing beats Univibe and l remember how sweet that one sounds. Butter Roll for the win!

Hearing the choco eq pedal reminds me of when I used to play my guitar through my dads stereo plugging into the tape deck. I would push all recording volumes up and get a great fuzz. Thanks for spotlighting this pedal. Love the Effects Bakery pedals especially the univibe pedal.

Like the fuzz and the chorus. The chorus is usable and doesn't get out of control and that flange thing at the low level gives that extra effect without requiring a separate pedal. That EQ though is something else. Probably an unexpected surprise if you just want an EQ and have to manage the dirt, but a cool idea. As for the vibe/chorus on the board, I think the vibe is more versatile and should stay.

Ive been hunting for a simple 3 knob chorus to take the place of my EQD sea chorus v1 on my acoustic P&W board. I want to use it on my electric board since it can get weird. This one has a lovely lush sound that i think will work nicely on my acoustic for live playing.

Tough choice between the Chorus and Vibe. I own both and I find the Vibe stays on all my boards more often because I have a Mathews Effects Chorus I love. But when I'm running a small board I switch between the Effects Bakery Chorus and Vibe about 50/50

The Bakery has good stuff,the only problem for me is that they go out of stock so often so just buying everything you want at once is never really an option. They're usually good about restocking pretty fast but they don't keep a lot of stock so something else will be sold out when the other item you want is in.

Did Effects Bakery stop using glossy finishes on all their pedal cases? I have a Plain Bread Compressor, Sandwich Fuzz and Bagel Overdrive from 2021, and they’re all glossy finished cases. The Melon Pan Chorus, French Bread Delay and Kamome Distortion I ordered all have matte finished cases, and definitely don’t feel as nice as my first set of pedals from EB. :(

Their website says the Power Supply is 9V for each output. The EQ Choco Coronet page says 10V. I'm hoping that's just a typo. btw, the US site doesn't show voltages. Had to swap over to the JP site to see specs.
