MORE AUTOMATION. gotta figure out a fuel source for machines

What are the machines? I haven't been keeping up with the streams. Looks like a forest setting so I can't imagine the machinations

Afaik the setting is not yet written in stone. Also the plants you grow produce iron and rocks as a crop, so this is blurring the line between nature and machinery themes.
