It’s especially sad to see because Floffi is clearly a loving aunt which makes Bo’s vindictive behavior all the more terrifying. She knows what she is doing is wrong and doesn’t care. If she can’t have babies than neither can her sister’s.

Bo really needs to go , as those other mothers must live in fear for their babys, waiting untill her family drops from grace wont help, she will still kill baby its who bo is now sadly, they font want these monkeys to breed and they get a tattoo, but when that turns to murder they do nothing to help the mothers of the baby to get rid of a threat . Its so sad , how man picks and chooses .and how many times they get it wrong. Bo problem is man made, and man needs to make it right, but, we know they wont .the damage is done.

It seems far less like Floffi respects/ or even looks up to Bo but is easily intimidated by her and as Lowina’s favorite she knows she can get away with anything. AM himself even said Lowina looked afraid of Bo when she’d snatched Floffi’s daughter.

There's a lot of complexities in their relationship we may never fully understand. Floffi has stood up to Bo and retaliated before, but as long as Lowina is around then I don't think anything will change. I don't know who is youngest out of the sisters, but either Fozzi or Floffi is next in line for Matriarch and once that happens then Bo will be outcast much like Ridgy was.

​@@kendee_ it goes to the youngest daughter way it's always been I've seen the documentary of Japanese macaques where the alpha female got killed and her youngest was like 1 year old so the daughter that was like 4 years old took over until The youngest ousted her sister out when she became around 3 years old, pretty sure this is the rule of law and all monkeys or apes that have troops, I say that because I know orangutans are solo they're not involved in troops 🇺🇲🦅🌍⚓ USMC

It is sad that the mothers won’t protect their babies against any danger and basically watch their babies die in Bo’s arms more than once. Also sad that the troop knows they have a baby killer amongst them and do nothing.😥

Humans caused Bo to be the way she is by sterilizing her. Humans should fix this problem of Bo stealing monkey babies by capturing her and putting her in a sanctuary or somewhere else safe where she can live a happy life and not be able to steal vulnerable monkey babies.

I absolutely despise Bo. Yes, humans caused the problem, but other childless females turn into benign aunties. She chose to vecome a killer. She stalks, and hides after up in the trees when sye has a baby. She knows she is in the wrong. Macaques gave good memory and hold grudges, so I can't believe Floffi wont learn from her mistakes. I find it harder that Floffi can stand being around Bo, let alone groom her or allow Bo to groom her. 😡😱

@@pc3235 Maybe a poor choice o f words. yes, she's wild, but primates have been shown to have some reasoning, cunning, and feelings. When I say she chose I mean she knows she is doing wrong. She just can't help herself. Maybe deranged would be more appropriate. However, let's note that other sterilised females become benign aunts. There may be an element of envy as well.

@@pc3235 I don't think she knows she is killing them, but I do think she knows taking them is wrong. Otherwise she wouldn't be so cunning about it. She actually stalks the mum for days, and waits for the opportunity. Then she runs for the trees. Bo can also observe from the females in the troop and that babysitting means giving the baby back, which is the correct thing to do in their society. That's why they ask permission from the mum first. As wild as they are, they have protocols they all follow. She is also not respecting that her mum, and sisters, outrank her. Again, going against her natural behaviour, and troop procedures. I think she is deranged. Just as humans can develop serious psychiatric disorders, so can our furry cousins 😥

@@pc3235 Agree with you 100%. We cannot know what these monkeys think or what they know or don't know. Our interpretation of their behavior is by definition based on our human knowledge and understanding. Too many people project our value system, instincts and interpretations onto their society without recognizing or questioning the limitations. Despite macaques and other primates having complex communications (relative to other animals), they do not have language. How in the world could they possibly understand concepts like nutrition or jealousy or infertility? They can't learn about these things or even discuss them amongst themselves, and to think they recognize what other family members think or why they behave the way they do is a leap of logic I'm not willing to make. I wish the people who "hate" Bo and others would differentiate an animal's behavior from its instrinsic worth as an individual and stop judging what we cannot possibly understand. You can hate a behavior without hating the animal. It doesn't even take a lot of empathy to recognize Bo desperately wants a baby of her own. She would likely be a great, protective, loving mother, as virtually all are. Even among those like Tina, Gypsy and Nora who sometimes behave in ways that distress any normal (non-sociopathic) human, there is ample evidence of each of them being good, loving mothers. I'll step off my soapbox now (rant not aimed at you PC, just happen to be piggybacking off of your comment)!
