I remember this test. They broke three sway bars on the rear during the test. I asked Dan about it later in the year when I saw him run outdoors, and he said the issue was a bad batch of parts. At another test session days later, they used some of the ones that were spares for Bigfoot 16, and they had no issue.

The 565 ci is ford is in this truck but they have a smaller Chevrolet 540 ci in Bigfoot 23 / Gunkster monster truck & Bigfoot 19 is the only other truck using a Chevrolet engine. Think it's more due to parts availability over anything else that they decided on that & summit racing which sponsors them also carrying them.
