Sweet video Matt! How are you liking the 2500 Miravel? I am thinking about picking one up for some finesse fishing. Obviously the Vanford is going to be the superior reel but is the Miravel worth half the price of the Vanford or should I save and get the Vanford?

Miravel is such an underrated spinning reel. I own stradic and sometimes I can’t tell them apart . Made me buy more miravel

I see you’ve slowly moved on from Kistler to shimano. Are you trying to land a sponsorship deal with them or just prefer the gear? I’ve slowly been switching everything over to shimano myself

I just prefer shimano gear. I've always thought they've had the best reels, and after my buddy Hunter let me use basically every shimano rod/reel set up in existence, I made the switch. I also got a sponsorship with them which I'm stoked on.

Shimano was always the best in my opinion they build good stuff. I even beat mine up saltwater fishing. They are just so nice and smooth
