You can get more ancient materials from destroyed guardians that are over puddles. Lift them with ice and they drop more. I once got an ancient core doing that.

always keep your ice weapons, hitting frozen enemies with a normal weapon does like double damage, so you can alternate between ice and normal weapons to stun and destroy lots of enemies

ancient shield does autoparry indeed! and it’s also very durable and literally the best shield for surfing so having it would be great!! going for ancient weapons is great in general especially for dealing with guardians and blights! if you slap on ancient proficiency perk too, that literally would be op, every guardian will run in fear (and ancient weapons look cool too so …)

You can also just make an “electro mushroom skewer” to avoid the electricity damage. It’s a bit faster than upgrading the rubber armor, and you get to keep all the perks from wearing the phantom armor. All you do is cook 4 zapshrooms and 1 shard of Farosh’s horn in a cooking pot. You can collect the zapshrooms on the ground in the Gerudo Highlands and Deep Akkala. You can get a shard of Farosh’s horn by going to Riola Spring. You build a fire under one of the trees and then sleep till morning. Once you wake up, the dragon comes up out of the water, creating an updraft. Just glide up, draw your bow, and shoot the horn. A piece will fly off and fall to the ground. The high level electricity resistance will last for 30 minutes because of the dragon horn. I use this every time I fight Thunderblight, and it works great!

tip for the ancient stuff you can buy the shield like u said it does reflect a guardians beam. The bow shoot almost in a straight line for a while.the armor doesnt really do anything diffrent to other armors it protects you but if you upgrade it two times the set bonus is that it gives 80% attack bonus to all ancient weapons and 50% to all guardian weapons.the ancient and guardian weapons do aswell extra damage to blights and guardians and you can use attack meal with that.I hope this helps

Notes: Yes, the rubber armor will prevent any and all shock damage and is highly recommended against Thunderblight (only works with the full set). However, it's probably best to upgrade it a few times as you're used to the defense granted from your current armor. Also, make sure to cook a meal that gives extra damage to compensate for that aspect of your current armor. About the Ancient Shield, it only auto-parries lasers (including those from guardians, blights, and ganon), but not other projectiles, nor melee attacks. Lastly, if you have the resources, then it's a really good idea to make and use the other ancient gear. The Ancient Bow is the best bow in the game by far, only outclassed by the Bow of Light, which you can only use in the final fight.

I belive mastermode makes the timing for parrys tighter, requires more precission. And the guardian stalkers get an ekstra trick up their sleeves when they shoot you. I won't spoil it, but word of advice.. get the shield...

Also quin rubber armor only protects you towards reducing shock damage, you would need to get the thunderhelm to not get shocked or "drop your shield."

Rubber armor won't prevent you from dropping your weapons, it's only with the thunder helm since it blocks lightning from hitting you. But rubber armor does lessen the amount of shock damage you take so it would be good to have when fighting thunderblight since his second phase and I believe other attacks use lightning it will do less damage with the full set of rubber armor

No, rubber armor pieces are obtained through side quests and shrines. Helm is a side quest at a stable, other two pieces are in shrines

The auto-parry shield is at Akkala Tech Lab, and if you upgrade the Rubber Armor set twice you'll be unshockable. That's good. Also, make sure you do Naboris next, the blight health scales with the order you beat them in.

Rubber armor would need to be upgraded two levels to have full shock resist. As in cannot be shocked. Not at all. Not even by the sight of a devious korok. Also, friendly reminder, you can find an ancient core in the shrine by the great fairy in the desert (and 300 rupees). And a second in the shrine surrounded by all the trash with the lady trying to cook (the one on the cliffs on the way to the giant horse…where you can pick. up. the laser). There’s a core in there and a gem.
