You get slaughtered on tax for a second job, though. And now the government is cracking down on income gained through eBay, vinted, etc. I can't sell as much online without worrying that I'll have to fork over even more money after all the deductions that eBay makes. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to cracl down even harder on cash-in-hand jobs people do in the side at some point. Working without declaring income is illegal, but the reason people do it is because they'd end up having to give most of the extra money earned to the government if they did.

Honestly working multiple jobs isn't the optimal way to attain financial freedom, With dividend investing, you automatically receive dividends directly into your brokerage or bank account every single month or quarter. It's the absolute easiest way to earn a living without having to raise a finger, with the exception of checking your portfolio maybe once every couple months. Even if you couldn't fully rely on dividends for a living, that extra money you receive could be the difference between working a job you hate and switching careers to a job you enjoy. Or it could be the difference between working full time and working part time and spending the rest of your time with family or friends doing whatever you wanna do, i pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life 🙏

Due to extortionate rent charged by the private business who own part of the buildings. Charge extortionate rent similar to what every landlord is doing to young and old alike. Greed is the cancer.
