Haha this one was a lot of fun and super informative. That pattern at the end with all the cowbells, though not super complex, sounded very complex/rich. I was like what the hell is that until you showed pattern with the notation. I didn't know there were different types of cowbells for different applications. I also had never really thought too much about the ghost notes in a paradiddle groove, and having seen it I realized it's something I need to spend a few mins cleaning up. Great playing and instruction, love it, much appreciated dude!

Yes, but I have to admit that I use an LP salsa model cha cha bell for funk.

It's unrelated but I' have a question about tuning congas. How can I understand when will the skin crack? For example, if when I push the skin with my hand in the center and it doesn't go down, should i stop? Thx in advance

A skin needs moisture to stretch without tearing. You can use shea butter or bag balm to moisturize the head. A well treated head will lose resonance before it breaks. The only other reason it might break with good care would be the quality of the head.
