It's interesting that Wander was set to be a playable character, especially considering the only other Television Animation characters were Phineas and Perry. With Wander Over Yonder premiering around the same time as the launch of 1.0, I personally think it could've been a neat way of both promoting the show AND the game in one go. Also, not surprised they vetoed X-Men and Fantastic Four, they were trying their hardest to ignore them during that period of time, the biggest shock is no word of them trying to force the Inhumans in lol

For a new video to add onto the subject of "this is how Infinity is being used today" Multiversus has the Hulk mesh readded from Open Beta where it was seemingly being used to pitch to Disney. There was a helicarrier mesh in Open Beta but not much is known of that pitch stuff

hey, just wanted to say its awesome people still play this, i still play Disney infinity to this day. just wanted to mention i learned something about Disney infinity you might not know, who knows maybe you can make a video on it. so me and my brother like doing pvp seeing what characters are strong for pvp, but in the process we learned multiple tricks that are hard to do but really cool and strong, you can dodge cancel, force cancel, unbreakable combos, and attack jump cancel. an example is with Anakin, his dodge is normally really slow and sluggish but if you attack timed with a dodge you can dodge infinitely and use this as a movement tool. comment if you want more info on this, I learned a lot of tricks almost on every character! please make a video on this i can get you the clips

There was were young kid at a beach resort enjoying playing Disney Infinity. The youngest loved playing Spider-Man and other Marvel related characters while the older sister loved to play that Lone Ranger level on 3.0.

Quite a set of ideas! In hindsight, everything makes sense. I'll never forget how often people *demanded* certain figures, playsets, and in-game elements, then got upset when Disney/Avalanche didn't make any promises. From day one, it all boiled down to the business side.

Which makes sense for them since they had to analyze the Toys side of the business. I just can only imagine what they could've done with an all digital platform via Infinity. It would've thrived in today's gaming landscape.

It makes it sound like either they really did listen to fan comments, or there were some fan shenanigans where they would go onto message boards and secretly campaign for characters anonymously because Wander seems out of nowhere, but there was a loud fanbase for that character (that also included me, and I can't remember if I just came up with the idea myself and agreed with others, or if I heard the idea, liked it, and then agreed they should be in the game) Disney Infinity was so ambitious, if only things didn't have to be timed to the other synergistic releases we could have got some more stuff, but I get it both ways. It's expensive any way you put it... and it's ironic that you'd have to save money with cross-over abilities, because that is true, but I also feel like figures would have been a lot more appealing to buy if they were more unique (Which is probably why we got the compromise with the character tree in 2.0) Still, if I had a magic genie, so much stuff I would change.

This concept has potential, still, to this day. I'm very curious to see what the Epic games partnership looks like. Even big Fortnite accounts are wondering if this will look like a Disney Infinity game. It's a great thing for us Infinity fans.

As shown on 7:08 the Randal stood out to me and I remember Carlos that played Timmy’s principal he played Mike sulley’s best friend in monster’s university playset and he talked about it in the podcast. And as shown on 7:08 team baboon chat about how much the dollars cost about randy is very fascinating and I can see why toys to life had a huge downfall. In my opinion Disney could’ve saved money 💵 for cut content and same thing for Warner brothers too. And they could save money 💵 for cut content to make new content but things didn’t turn out the way how it used to be.

We know that Doctor Who is going down on its disappointing Disney routes now, but I was thinking if Disney Infinity would put Doctor Who characters in the game that would’ve been a great excitement all except for some characters I don’t want to have in the game such as The Thirteenth Doctor, The Fourteenth Doctor and The Fifteenth Doctor along with their companions Graham O'Brien, Ryan Sinclair, Yaz Khan, Dan Lewis and Ruby Sunday especially the monsters except a lot of good ones but I don’t think we should add more than just that.

@@InfiniteerAdventures Yoo I just seen this recently dropped on KZbin Disney infinity toybox tv had ep .67 it seems they have anniversary coming up and they recently updated and paid for the Disney infinity trademark again on the 14th of march in the toybox tv KZbin channel it seems they were throwing in a bunch of hints to I think Disney infinity is gone be relaunched or will launch 4.0 with the name Disney infinity the magic returns with better upgraded graphics more characters and a new updated pad that will allow you to how toy box on 4 players split screen all the Disney infinity fans keep your eyes on the game I think we got something going on behind our back

Also, for those probably gonna say "but this is Disney Infinity, not Skylanders!" the kit actually works with pretty much any NFC using toy, and the Disney Infinity toys and discs used those. I am willing to bet that if someone managed to get the figures to be recognized by it and loaded into a game with their Disney Infinity movements and all that, we could bring this game back from the dead and expand upon it in ways never thought possible.

There's a part of me that can't help put think that somehow, in some way, they're going to resurrect DI in the as yet to be titled section of Fortnite that is depicted as being some kind of world with various IPs within it. I still wish that they would reach out to Avalanche and see if there's anything that can be done to bring this back to life... somehow.

Part of me wonders the same. Our hope now is the Epic games deal. How much DNA will come from Infinity? That's the big question we all wonder about - as well as other fans of Fortnite. All of them should be playable characters. Even darkwing duck,dipper,Mabel and Sylvia. I’m more upset wander was considered but never made it. I think the same happened to Dipper and Mabel I don’t remember. They should have done each series a toy box pack from Disney channel like they did to the Mickey mouse characters 1.0 Phineas and perry 2.0 dipper and Mabel 3.0 wander and Sylvia All scrapped and requested characters should be playable. In fact the next toy box set for 4.0 or 5.0 excluding scrapped characters should have been like Elizabeth swan,fix it Felix,sergeant Calhoun,wander,Sylvia and an extra area with darkwing duck,dipper and Mabel since they were the most requested at the time. There would be one more spot but if there were one or two. Someone actually wanted grunkle Stan and Wendy of that works.

@@googamp32 Except they don't. Unless you consume everything without standards. The Star Wars trilogy's writing quality sky dived pretty quickly. After endgame they continously mismanaging Marvel and barely anyone excited or even knows what the hell is up with 5th phase, a lot don't even know 4th ended or started. There are 1-2 good series the rest is trash one after another. They dicontinued Disney infinity 8 years ago, so fail at games too. They constantly put out lazy live remakes that barely reaches up to the original.
