Hey Michael, I can’t thank you enough for this video. The placement of my left hand that mirrored your thoughts in this video really made a difference today. I have been struggling with my consistency over the past couple of weeks and couldn’t figure it out. I went back to basics and used your grip and WOW! what difference. I will be practicing starting with your grip advice. Thanks again!!!

I am watching the "turn your head" at 10:12 go back and look at the first photo of Slammin' Sam Sneed near the beginning, that is head movement. I have had head movement for years and it helps, but it does give way to to sliding forward (slice) if your not practiced at it. So don't run out on your next round with a let's try that and see. this is range practice work. Moreover. Swinging tense does not make distance. Smooth but fast and with purpose... Love your teaching Mr Breed.

Fantastic instruction on the proper grip. Truly transformed my swing. I no longer flip the club face through impact. Now if I can learn to shift my weight to the forward foot on the downswing and clear my left side, I’ll be set.
@thetruthfornow60452 жыл бұрын
I have the same problem also. At the top do not let your weight get to the outside of the right foot. My first move down is a bump backwards of my lead glute with out letting my trail shoulders open up. This guy also does similar except he releases his left knee. My was does both.

Fantastic. I love the tips in this video. It make sense and I see the move in many of the pro golfer. The knee , the head turn ( not tilt ) are some of them. All squeeze into this video.

Hi Michael, I recall a video you did on Golf Channel that was about hitting different distances with your different wedges. Love that one. I don't think you have do something on your KZbin channel unless I have missed it. I'd love to see you do that again in your studio with your screen then posted on KZbin. Club Swing length (1, 2, 3) 58 40/50 55/65 85/95 54 55/65 70/80 100/110 PW 70/80 80/90 115/125 I'm also trying to really figure out which bounce and grind that will be most beneficial for me. Thanks and keep up the great work!

You'll overcook the fade or draw aiming the face that way. Set the face around 1/2 way between the swing path and the target, not right at the target. Mike is a skilled player and made instinctive fine face angle adjustments just before the swings.

My coach always wanted me to push off trail foot to shift weight however I cant sink up fluidly and lose power. Is the Snead move another way to shift weight for me? I think this is because I am a center poster.

How do you NOT show where to place the RIGHT fingers / hand ?? On the shaft /club ? Misplacement would create problems wouldn't it ? strong , weak , neutral grips such as slicing , etc if the right hand isn't in its right place or position ? Just started playing at age 53 very new to this but you would think the FUNDMENTALS would be the MOST important especially the grip !!!!!
@pushtostart13775 жыл бұрын
Want to stop coming over the top? Feel like the back of the club head is facing the ground on the downswing all the way until impact. From the top the move is down and at the same time in one smooth motion feel like you are twirling the club way open. You can’t do it too much. Check out Steve Elkington and secret golf.

I watched this video just for the grip part. First your first swing went as far past parallel as your second. Your shoulder turn was the same for both also. Your two draw shots never got the club to parallel and your shoulder turn was much less. Your follow through were longer on the two draw shots. That's the power of replay and the pause button.

@rjamieson4875 жыл бұрын
Some possible cases where you might: work around an obstacle, take some distance off a club if you're between clubs and want to hit with the stronger club, or get a softer landing on the green. Nicklaus was infamous for playing the cut predominantly. I heard that his golf course designs are predominantly filled with dog let RIGHT because he played that way. No idea it that's true.

Completely disagree with your explanation with your club face segment. Dynamically, a square club face is open at impact
@jookington3 жыл бұрын
can't take this seriously when you teach setting the club up like that. you may know alot but this is an error. why would you teach someone to set the club up square in a position the club won't be at impact as well your shoulders contingent on your preferred impact position square or slightly open will negate and not matter to the setup where the club wont be at impact. This just creates more manipulation.
