Hi! Just one question. Great video btw. Did you have any of those tables already built on DataBase or did you pick a one single table and break it down into multiple tables? I'm wondering if you have any video about Data Modeling to learn about that because I've heard that improve the performance of the report if you work with star schema like you did.

Thanks for that, I did a test with 4 months, one notation for month and even like just on the line graph it just shows one notation. Definitely requires a fix

That is how data labels have always worked, specially with line charts :( Try to increase the label density to see if it gets better.

The annotation may not be showing due to sampling. If you check the DAX query you will likely see a TOPN which may be causing this. When you zoom in you are getting fewer data point allowing the specific dates to come into range.

Why sampling 8 data points? If it is considering my blanks as a data point they need to change that imo. I want to be in control of which data points are shown.

@@CurbalEN It not just 8 data points, you have a continous x-axis and Power BI samples that to figure out the key points to plot. While sampling can be the issue, even when you reduce the x-axis size to below the default sampling threshold, you still don't see all annotations. Power BI still seem to make a arbitary choice to which lables it wants to show. This is the case even when you setup the measure to only show sales amounts on the annotation days. Agreed this is not ideal behaviour.

It is terrible behaviour to plot stuff based on sampling. Hopefully they will fix it, specially now when we can be specific about what data labels to plot :)
