I think this early access is helping it avoid the Battles 2 treatment Imagine if it launched with the balancing similar to this or even the other early access? It'd be Battles 2 all over again. Battles 2 has become pretty well-balanced but people just don't give it another shot. Card Storm, however, has not fully released, so of course people are going to give it a shot when it's fully released

I'm inclined to agree about the moab delay sniper ability. It seems like you might get to use it once a battle, and it can be undone immediately with the rush card for much cheaper.

I feel like farms should have a bigger downside like you almost always want to equip farm because it’s free money for like a small amount of space usage(for example in btd battles in uses a third of your tower slots).

I think that part of the problem is gold seems way more important than draw. (At least in the early game) The game just came out though so it’s hard to tell.

I disagree. While farms are powerful, the 4 gold heavily slows down plays letting the opponent get an entire turn to just full aggro with swarm. Plus later in the game it just becomes a brick in your deck. Bloons are kinda op right now so farms being strong as well is balanced

This meta is more oppressive than Battles 2's ever has been, arguably. I was there for IMF farming but I still felt like I had a better chance I won several games before the meta took off but after the meta took off everyone who didn't want to use the meta got bored and left lol this game has great potential but that's looking forward lol

I mean thats entirely the consequence of having a very limited pool of cards. The metagame becomes way more rock-paper-scissors when theres less variation.

Response to the genres not being the same-> 14:50 In the btd6 content i find the puzzle parts of it to be the most intriguing, such as the challenges or the run saving or the self imposed boss restrictions. So while btd6 and card storm arent the same genre, they most definitely have some crossing over when it comes to the content you post and I’m all for it!

this game feels so slow, i really hope they add a fast paced game mode, like maybe you only get 15 seconds per turn, that way people who prefer the slow can play it slow and people who prefer fast paced action can play that mode

I think towers should have a "sell" option that removes it and refunds 50% of its gold cost and does not return the card. Its not efficient but does add some strategy in that you could sell all your towers and go for a bloon rush like in BTDB, but if it fails youre basically dead.
