More Epic Plant Collections @ The Ark Herb Farm in Costa Rica! (Part 2)

We returned to Costa Rica last year (June 2019) after being away for a year! Our first stop was at "The Ark" Herb Farm and Botanical Gardens. Owner and Founder, Tommy Thomas gave us a tour of this amazing and beautiful site. The Ark is Costa Rica's largest botanical garden and their mission is to create a space of reflection open to all people and to promote the education, conservation correct use of plants. This is Part 2 from our last video here at "The Ark" and in this video we venture off into a lush bamboo jungle and see even more rare and unique plant collections that all have a wide array of edible and medicinal uses.

That plant in 28:44, that is a type of Yam, air yam to be exact, we call it Ube in Philippines. The common variety is the purple yam, but there is a wild white yam that is very rare and way tasty than the purple one.
