I think was too dumb to invent CTRL+C but SSL Certificate. If you are in the world of IT you will know how SSL Certificate works that you generate CSR (Certificate Signing Request, which is a code but confused and send it to third part vendor for SSL) then you send it to the SSL vendor and what the vendor does it scramble it and send it back to you. So now the code is more confused and put it on your sever. That is what exactly Muhammad did. @True light not really, I'd say it's more philosophical. Yoga is a Hindu school which Buddhism borrowed but Buddhism definitely influenced reform in Hinduism hence why Buddhism died out in India. Buddha is part of the Hindu pantheon and even today, Buddhists may pray at Hindu temples or alongside Hindus. Hinduism talks more about the soul and ultimate reality which don't really exist in Buddhism but to be honest, they are closer than people think

Remember. Muslims agree that Hajj was polytheistic at one point. What they don't agree with is that it was ORIGINALLY polytheistic. As the evidence mounts, it should become more and more clear that hajj was always pagan. The rituals surrounding Islam are very much pagan sourced. Muhammad claimed many of them as his own, claiming "Abraham" built the kaabah but there's no evidence for such a claim. It's an empty claim that doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Neither does claiming that hajj was "corrupted" by the polytheistic Arabs. There's far too much evidence for the contrary, that MUHAMMAD was the one who corrupted the hajj and made it monotheistic.

After decades of research & pondering I think Makkah was a Temple Complex having many Male & Female deties along with Shivalingam of Makkeshwara (Black Stone). All idols we're destroyed but Black Stone was retained as center of attraction. Talking of months the Qur'an says God ordained 12 months since the beginning of creation (9:36). But calendars are a subjective human creation made by dividing the yearly cycle around the sun into whatever convenient periods people in the past and in different regions chose. Calendars have a long history of evolution and of regional variations. There have been 11 & 13 month calendars. (In modern times many argue a 13 month Solar calendar has more advantages over the widespread Gregorian calendar). All calendars are problematic with some months having 28 days, some 30 and some 31 - not forgetting leap years. But most impractical of all is the lunar one which depends on moon sighting making it impossible to predict very far ahead but worst of all doesn't follow seasons, making it totally impractical for farming, business and everyday use. Even Muslims themselves only pay lip service to it - while in all practical affairs follow the Gregorian calendar. One last point - other planets experience a huge variation in their years. Some shorter and some longer than earths. If we ever colonise another planet will we need a new revelation telling us how many months have been ordained on that planet, so we can divide the year correctly? (PS Qur'an also says: (2:189) "People ask you about the phases of the moon. Say: “They are signs to determine time for the sake of people and for the Pilgrimage" - But the people already knew that!)

Keksi duh, we already know Muslim holidays follow the Islamic calendar. The point he was making is that the lunar calendar is completely impractical for normal societal life. The “holy” month in Islam can be in any of the seasons depending on what year. Biblical calendar is a lot better. It’s not only religious but suitable for farming and societal life.

The kaaba is not an idol... it is an empty building, which has been renovated, damaged and developed many times throughout history. There were many buildings just like it around Arabia and Persia...the metal casing around the black stone, situated in one of the corners was not always in a metal casing, the one we see today is a modern construct(which funny enough gives rise to false tales ie being a fertility goddess etc) From a quranic perspective, I can’t find any evidence that Abraham built the Kaaba or that his original sanctuary was actually the Kaaba...

I didn't know about that, but it's not really surprising. The same thing happened with most Christian celebrations. They were explicitly put at the same time as pagan celebrations to replace them and even rituals were changed and integrated into those celebrations. Christmas is the most widely known to have been explicitly placed in that period of the winter to replace pagan celebrations of the winter solstice.

The purposes of celebrating chrismast , hajj or umrah are totally different. Celebrating christmas is neither a must nor a religious event to be done to get saved while hajj is the opposite. It's an order to become a good muslim. Christmas is just a celebration, nothing to do with becoming a good or a bad christian. Angels were celebrating the birth of Jesus too if you read the bible carefully.
