@thomassankara28572 күн бұрын
This is why the NPP is unlikely to return to power anytime soon. Instead of apologizing and engaging your members and Ghanaians about how badly you treated them, you are saying you were the best managers of the economy and that your loss resulted from voter apathy. Remember that every voter is a Ghanaian first, before a party member. If you suffered voter apathy, then Mahama also did. The question you should be asking is why he gained more votes than the NPP, even though he also suffered voter apathy.
@felixkommey25052 күн бұрын
Look there is something this man is getting wrong. There are two things here, Mahama rather pulled votes to MPs Akuffo Addo repelled votes from the NPP. Akuffo Addos abysmal management of the country is what has caused the problem. So there is a difference.

He is saying that it takes both presidential effort and parliamentary candidates effort to get both candidates to win in a constituency. So he made reference to the 2016 elections. The incumbent party, having lost the election to the opposition, has a responsibility to uphold the rule of law and protect the nation’s institutions. Any acts of violence, looting, or attacks on state facilities by opposition party members or any other unscrupulous people must be addressed firmly and in accordance with the law. It is essential to ensure that the transition of power does not compromise the safety, stability, or integrity of the country. Enforcing the laws without bias will demonstrate commitment to justice and preserve public trust in the nation’s democratic processes.
