I don't find these videos boring in the slightest. As a bulk driver in the UK who goes to the same 5 or 6 delivery sites during the week, it's fantastic to see parts of Europe that i'm never going to see myself. You guys creating content are living the dream that i'd always wanted to do. I can't thank you enough for taking the time and effort in making videos that we all love.

Don’t stop the full trip videos. Each one is well worth viewing, especially from the point of view of those of us who did the job 40 odd years ago!! It’s great to see what has changed, what procedures are different now as well as all the old routes and destinations.

Always interesting with you Peter and don't change the camra set up as you thinking of doing it's perfect as it is😉

Brilliant Video Pete, i had said this before, watching your Swiss videos made me want to do it, and a i have done loads of Swiss work since👍 can we take it you went the "un Offical Route" i did see a few no trucks signs, but could not read the writing on them. Anyway safe motoring and i hope you keep making these👍

Listening to you talking about wanting to drive in Europe. Well back in the day when I first started driving, I started driving for a small company in East London. My first trip to Europe was 3 weeks after passing my class 1 test. But being young and no fear I was not fazed. My first Trip was to Italy pulling a Fridge Trailer for a Company called Frigoscandia who had a Coldstore in Stratford east London ( plus other locations ). I did not even no my way out of the docks at Calais. But I loved it. Still do in fact. Great vids mate glad you are back..

I just like your videos the way they are Pete. Watching out the front window and you explaining occasionally what is happening. Stay safe.

I remember catching one of your videos when you first started, 10 years ago?, at the time i thought how simple and relaxing they were to watch. No noisy music - flashy graphics - fancy camera work, just simple driving with occasional comments. Good to see your back making videos again, hope you keep the simple relaxing style. I play "euro truck simulator", so its nice to see the roads in real life. thanks for the great videos as always, and will keep watching. Stay safe and take care.

Ran trucks in the eighties and nineties, only did uk work, that was hard enough then. Now I'm 64 years young was thinking about trying it. The trucks now with the technology and equipment is quite appealing. I suppose your vlog as the anonymous European driver is in question now as we i believe it was you showing your face on the beautiful 660 scania vlog.😊 keep video's coming dude. You never know i might meet up with you sometime in Europe or the uk on my travels.👍

So you’ve not watched all the other videos? The channel name is a long story but actually has nowt to do with my identity. You should give it a go and see how you get on. What’s the worst that could happen 🙂

I thoroughly enjoyed it! Love the screen view & your interesting commentary. I feel like I'm with you in the cab, My personal favourites are the longer, full trip videos, but I appreciate that they must be more difficult & time consuming to create. Anyhow, please keep on posting! 👌

Could I ask what makes you interested in these videos? It’s just that my original idea was to show people who aren’t Drivers what it’s all about.

Enjoyed the video Pete, looking forward to the not so anonymous European driver videos 👍
@AnonymousEuropeanDriverАй бұрын
I changed the name of the channel when I was at CARS coz they were so touchy about social media. I stole the idea from the Casefile podcast where the narrator just calls himself the Anonymous Host. It just stuck after that really.

Peter: Have you ever been on the Autobahn between Hamburg and Lübeck, "die Teststrecke". Where they test overhead electric wires for trucks ( similar to trams ). What's your opinion on the future of trucks and electric power ?
@AnonymousEuropeanDriverАй бұрын
Been down there this week. Also on the A5 near Frankfurt Airport that’s the same
@Anglo.in.SaxonyАй бұрын
I think that will be the mid term future. A sort of hybrid truck. Electric overhead wires on the Autobahn and battery/diesel for the last 20km

Morning Mr Owen. You must have a memory the size of an elephant to remember the exact details of your very first trip. Not boring in the slightest. How many years ago was that? Loving the Germany content. I've only driven a car in Germany, but the standard of driving does seem more civilised and better behaved than the UK.
