The Exterra Pro is a good new starter unit. It's really good at the beach. Also the Vanquish 340 or 440 are good starters that you can get second hand.

I’ve got a card that I keep in my finds bag for pre and post decimal coin numbers. The M11 coil rings one to two digits lower than the M15 on my Manticore.

I dunno about the Equinox but 40-41 with my Manticore would be 20 cents.

Yep you are right. 20 cents. The older I get the less I remember. At one stage I had a card on my detector with the common ID'S on it..

What do u do with the jewellery u find? I’m thinking of doing this and read u have to take it to cop shop where they hold it for certain time and if no one claims u get it back?
