PCSX2's newish native Wheel support works well for me on my Thrustmaster T300RS: 1. Settings -> Controllers -> USB Port 1 -> Change first drop down box to Wheel Device -> Change second drop box to Driving Force Pro (rev11.02) -> Set up all the Bindings

I wish we could have a game like this with GT7's physics. I'm not saying everything needs to be a sim but the flaws with this game's physics are really apparent these days.

Games nowadays rarely let you just mess around with stuff, huge part of GT4 greatness is the ability to take seemingly completely wrong car for the job and make it work against the AI with the help of tuning, upgrades etc. I feel like GT series is "too serious" nowadays. Almost all focus went into the multiplayer, the singleplayer part of the game that allows you to mess around is just lacking.

Gt7s physics are awful. Cars are way too stiff and unresponsive. Forza has always had much better physics and I've played GT for way more years

GT4 is the only one of those thst officially supports a wheel, I think. On an actual ps2, you would need to find an old working GT Force or GT Force Pro wheel and connect it to your ps2.

first link in the description, mate. You'll need a clean copy of the GT4 network test disc, which is not very hard to find on the internet archive, and then also xdelta to patch it, and then you can play it with PCSX2!
