A cool detail about the Hirohata Merc, the first recolor to lime green metallic was historically accurate. The real car got that repaint for it to show better in black and white in the 1955 film “Runnin’ Wild”

The supotsuka reminds me of an RX7 FC with a bit of the pandem kit vibe. And I’m a big fan of that and the hw rx7 fc Pandem. The Gordon Murray one is beautiful.

Hot Wheels is definitely on it with the Basic Line. Something I'd like to see is the STHs offered through Creations for around $25, some time after initial release. Maybe one a month the following year. This would be in addition to the STH box set already offered. That would likely affect a scalping/scalping price reduction, and give Mattel an additional revenue stream. Obviously, it also gives collectors another opportunity at the models.

All of these look nice! I wish the new wheel would have a regular spoke number like 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8. It's nice to finally have a wheel with thicker tires other than 5SP, L4 and WRSW, this one is thinner so it would suit better some classic cars.

Just seen the 2025 case. A few new models have been introduced. But there are also multiple copies of casting. Hotwheels needs better direction. And they need to pay more attention to metal castings. Not just for special series. All need to be metal. The super treasure hunts need to be the quality level of all commons. The newer high roller and small block are really generic. When a case has literally a half dozen good castings, they are only handing the competition more attention. Bring back sprung axles, all metal castings, graphics, moving parts.
