I backed the last deck that Sirian Shadow,the Gothic Literature creator, released-The Haunted Manor Oracle. The quality and finish of that deck is First Class. I have no doubts this will be the same

How would I order the Gothic Literature Tarot deck? There's no where on the website to order it. But I have no idea how kickstarter works. Do you have to back it to receive a copy or to buy a copy?

Thank you so much for watching and commenting! 😊 With Kickstarter, it really depends on the campaign, but for the Gothic Literature Tarot, the artist will have a few leftover copies available in their Etsy shop, SirianShadow, once they’ve finished shipping out the Kickstarter orders (from 10/14-10/21). There will only be a limited number for sale, so I’d recommend keeping an eye on their Etsy shop when it reopens. They might also announce it on their Instagram (instagram.com/sirianshadow) when it’s available! If you’re new to Kickstarter, backing a project is usually the best way to get a deck at a lower price while supporting its creation. Sometimes the Kickstarter versions differ from later releases, like in cardstock or edging. If you do end up getting the deck, I hope you love it! I’m really excited to see how it turns out!

Gothic literature tarot... hm...It appears to be AI-generated. I searched for the mentioned "mystic" Lithuanian artist and it seems to be fictitious.

Thank you for bringing this up and for your thoughtful comment. 😊 I understand your concern about AI-generated artwork, as I share them as well. I want to invest in artists, not AI. The creator has confirmed that the artwork is not AI-generated and has addressed these concerns directly in the campaign updates. They stated that the artist uses a combination of traditional and digital techniques. Additionally, they have complied with Kickstarter’s requirements to disclose AI usage and confirmed that AI was not used in the project. I’m glad there are folks in the tarot community being proactive about this subject! I’d love to see mass-market decks start disclosing the use of AI too. Thanks for watching and commenting!
