I feel like this only makes sense if realm event rewards were something that everybody got, which i thought is how they were going to work originally. But since it is only for people who reach certain milestones this is not going to help anybody who actually needs it in the first place 💀

honestly when i heard of realm events being introduced i thought that all players would have access to all rewards and that they wouldn't make rewards gated behind certain point levels. in hindsight, yeah some of the rewards are pretty nuts for everyone to be able to access in this way, but now it kind of just feels like the realm event is a solo event with extra steps. players w/o enough points to reach higher milestones don't get the rewards which is fine, but the problem is that in some realm events, players that deserve to get the higher milestones could get screwed over because the community isn't active enough or doesnt spend enough, like what might've happened with the battlegrounds event had kabam not boosted the points for it.

I thought the same thing, that way everybody would want to help, but whales are gonna whale regardless, people who aren't reaching the top probably won't wanna spend since there is little incentive. If everybody got the rewards the whales would be happy the reached the milestones while everyone else would be happy because they get the rewards too and can help out where they can

Biggest problem was the blindsiding. Everyone saved 10-12k units and then 2 days before learned they needed 5k more. Definitely on purpose from Kabam to try to get an extra $100 out of people. I am happy as a free to play that had 14k units saved and grinded some arena for the last 1k or so, but would be pissed if I only saved 8-9k going in like previous years

The banquet event was overall a bit underwhelming mostly due to the awful rewards from the crystals we opened even though we ended up with really good rewards from the real event. I spent around 15 K units and I got everything so far. My wife’s account spent 10 K and it is missing out on most good rewards I managed to get like duping Isophene and 2 of the 7* crystals and a couple of keys!

Even the rewards themselves are wrong. 1k titan shards doesn't motivate anyone to spend extra, and the "big stepping stones" among them are not good enough as well. r3 gem is not enough to chase, and the trophy selector, this one is clearly for the already big spenders, since they re just trophies, not useful for anyone. If they really wanted to help, since they said that they can't add extra stuff to the already achieved milestones, they could just add Extra milestones to the alliance and solo event, that everyone got for 1/10 of the units Realm needed. So clearly, helping is not the intention here.

These changes are simple to understand… Kabam is a business first and foremost. Their job is to create revenue more than fairness. And the bad thing about gamers is they forget negative circumstances very quickly with the next shiny lure. Doesn’t make it right, but Kabam knows what they are doing more than “not understanding the player base”.

I’m on 50 thousand plus in alliance participation, 3rd place is 37. 4th drops to 25 thousand. Why should we be all receiving same level of gifts when there’s such a gap. I’m no whale but if I invest then I should have access to more rewards. And that’s no insult to players that can’t, but there has to be a line. The whales will always come out on top. But there has to be a divide for the rest of us also. Otherwise what’s the point? Been playing 10yrs and tryin to get 4 and 5stars initially took time. 7 stars are being gifted now and people aren’t happy. It’s crazy.

Personally, I have mixed feelings about the event. Both last year and this year I hoarded all my units throughout the year and ended up with about 24k units hoarded to spend on the event. (This is (mostly) free to play as well, no money spent except on the Beta Ray Bill double track event.) Both last year and this year the actual banquest crystals were completely underwhelming - I did not open a single one that made me excited. And that is a problem for what is basically a gambling game. If you are going to save for an entire year to open these things, you want at least a couple of them to make you jump and whoop, but I did not jump up and whoop even once. However, in the aggregate I did actually do very well. Last year I doubled my number of six star champions, and from the 6* Abyss Nexus Crystal I chose cosmic (hoping to get Hulkling) and got Hercules instead. Plus I got a generic 6* awakening gem and a generic max sig crystal, so was able to get my Herc to max boost and was able to Rank 3 him. So hardly a bad result. This year I was able to achieve my first four R5 six stars, plus I more than tripled my number of 7* champs, and got my first R2 7*, plus have two 7* 1->2 gems that I am trying to decide who to use on, so I will end up with 3 x R2 7* champs, which is a real result. So, I can't complain about what I actually got, but there was just no particular single opening that actually excited me - and there lies Kabam's real problem. If you're opening over 80 crystals, you should expect, at least a couple of times, to jump out of your seat and shout &*@^ yeah! And too many people have not had that experience. [Edit] With the extra milestones added to the realm event, it looks like there is a fair chance I'll get the 2 to 3 gem as well, so I could get a rank 3 7* as well as two rank 2's.

If you could not make the milestones in the events then you could be satisfied that you got something spicy from the crystals. It could even motivate people to buy more. I hope Kabam learns from this and listens to the players. Won't hold my breath.

They would have been better off adding keys tbh, but the 2-3 rank up is okay. I had a feeling about the Banquet which is why I skipped other events for the end of the year event so now I see will save for April or June. As for the content based on the most skilled players it's justification for BS because the most skilled are able to do it while the average players struggle the out of touch allegations will never be beat by Kabam

I have 33k points , xtals gave me a 7* nexus and 7* xtal and all the rest filler, the milestones are decent but it is really brought down by sbc drops, could have been a home run event with better drops but it’s depressing to get bad SBC luck

I don’t comment a lot as I don’t like to impose my opinion on anyone, but I see alot of comments of people who feel like they’re owed something. I think we need to be reminded that Kabam owes us nothing. They provide an amazingly fun and visually stunning game full of our favorite characters for FREE. You don’t have to spend AT ALL to play it. Plus they give us a ton of free and objective based rewards. I’m not trying to be judgy or tell anyone they’re wrong for feeling a certain way. Just try to remember that the game is FREE to play. Everything else is a consumer decision to buy or not.

It will never be enough. There's also a huge problem. Accidental purchases. Many players, including myself, have made accidental purchases of banquet crystals. Despite this, kabam won't refund us and take back their resources linked to crystals accidentally opened because of community landing points. 2500 units lost in a rotten event thanks kabam

I came into this banquet with 17k units hoping to achieve one goal, to finally get my hands on a Thanos. I didn't get him, but got a load of other decent stuff in the milestones. Also got a bit lucky with 2.5 extra t4a in crystals. BRING ME THANOSSSSSSSS, and I will happily suck off kabam for the next few months. Or glaze them for a day or two. Maybe. 😂 I just want that Thanos because I've failed on so many occasions before. But it does kinda suck for everyone below the big milestones because adding extra milestones does nothing to compensate for those god awful crystals they lied about.
