Sticker is a hit or miss song. Either you love it with all your heart or you hate it with every bone in your body. For me it was a hit but for alot of people it was a miss. NCT 127 is one of a kind group. They have their own sound. They experiment with their music alot. Also I realized that the flute sounds so different if u use different headphones/speakers. Bc when i listen to it on spotify the flute is way less prominent/high pitch compared to the sound of the song in this vid.. (when listening with the same headphones)

sticker is also a song that can grow on you once you get used to the.. experimental sounds. Its a empty beat but with a lot of sounds, anyways first time I heard it I went ehHH??? but after a few listens my brain went with the flute and the beat and before I knew it it was on repeat in my head and I love it

Sticker was the song that divided the fandom's opinion. Some said that Lemonade should be the title track but there's a reason why SM chose this one. It really signifies the concept and sound of 127. 127 was known for their noise music which are bangers istg. If you listen to sticker for a few times, it will grow on you. I still remember the time when this was released, the flute kept on playing in my mind for days lmao. If you want to dive deeper into 127's music, I recommended you to listen to Simon Says (also one hell of a weird but great song), Lemonade and Regular (english ver.) PS: This song/album "Sticker" gave them a lot of wins and a Daesang 💚

re: co-ed groups, k-pop marketing and artistic direction relies playing up traditional gender roles, i.e. cute & delicate girl groups, daring & sexy boys groups. it's easier to market a group to a specific demographic. they know they're aiming for women when they sell a boy group. Co-ed groups exist though. AKMU- brother & sister vocal driven group KARD- 2 girls, 2 guys. more inline with a traditional idol kpop groud than AKMU Cube Entertainment did the co-ed concept as sub-units pulling from already existing groups + HyunA from 4Minute. Triple H- HyunA and Hui & Dawn from Pentagon. Trouble Maker- Hyuna & Hyunseung from BEAST, this is iconic

There's a relatively new one called 777 as well (aka Triple 7 or Triple Seven)... sort of a project group with 4 members from B.I.G. and 3 members from 3YE. Their debut song was 'Presente' which was channeling some big time KARD vibes with such a latin sound, but they did a pretty good job.

Actually sticker divided fandom into sticker lover n hater but at the end Sticker paved path for nct127 to many awards ..it bcme their most wins in music show 10 wins... N other Music award and won their first Daesang means Grand prize on award show which is very meaningful to K-pop artists. Sticker was experimental n unique smth out of box.

I think there is a group of mix boys and girls such as K.A.R.D but mostly it's always boy group and girl group, I think the reason is because the concept, like the choreography is one of the reason if Im not wrong there are differences between boy and girl type of dance idk how to call it lol, like girls dances are not as aggresive as boys, and other reasons that I cant even tell because Im not an expert XD, I hope you get it. but it's not impossible to have a mix group. depend on their agency how they will make their artist cmiw

Sticker was my number 1 listened to song in 2021... I listened to that bish 273 times... SINCE SEPTEMBER! 😳🤷‍♀️ Totally thought it was going to be Hello Future, but I guess Sticker stuck to me. 😉 As much as some people loathed Sticker with every fiber of their being and made it their singular mission to make other people hate it as much as they did... it still went on to have 10 music show wins, got the first music show all-kill by a boy group since 2017 (a feat even BTS hasn't accomplished) and sold more than 2.4 MILLION albums. Clearly, I wasn't the only one who liked it. 😄 BTW, the comeback concept was that they were hackers who got sucked into a shooter type video game with a cowboy theme... to me the set looks like a stylized minimalistic version of old school Las Vegas, which used to have a lot of western/cowboy type influences back in the day.

NCT 127 just won a Daesang, which is the highest award that you can get, for Sticker. It has gotten a lot of hate, but it's recognized by professionals as a gem. It may take some time to grow on you, but it usually does in a big way. If not, that's okay too because everyone has their preferences. At least you are the kind of person who can appreciate various kinds of art, even if it's not exactly your cup of tea. I love how experimental NCT is. Since the beginning, I think they are always slightly ahead of their time. Thanks for the reaction! Can't wait for more!

THERE IS A CO-ED GROUP!! I recommend KARD!! 2 girls and 2 boys. Basically, their first song was simply just a "project", probably to test the waters. But the song surprisingly blew up in Korea as well as a few international charts. They released 3 more songs after, and since their fans really demanded to properly debut them as a permanent group, and they did so! Please consider checking them out in the future when youve got extra time for it. 1. "Oh Nana" (Their very first song released that got everyone in Korea addicted.) 2. "Rumor" (Still a pre-debut song) 3. "Hola Hola" (Debut song! Finally!) 4. "You In Me" (Dark concept) 5. "Red Moon" (FREAKIN BOP) 6. "Enemy" (It's only the two girls in this one) 7. "Inferno" (Just the two guys too) 8. "Don't Recall" (One of their pre-debut songs)

There are actually a few Coed kpop groups. The most popular are popular are probably KARD, Triple H, Checkmate, AKMU, and Troublemaker, but AKMU and Troublemaker are duos, not a full group. I think the reason for this is because SK is more conservative? I can't really explain it that well, but basically it doesn't look good to the Korean public?

There’s a collaboration with Ateez, Monsta X, Brave Girls, and Rain to promote Pepsi with a song, “Summer Taste”. Though, it’s only two members of each group participating on it. Co-ed kpop groups do exist, but unfortunately only a few stands out. 1st Gen kpop groups : Koyote, Sharp, Cool, Roo'ra, 2nd Gen : usually only in form of collabs between groups for ads or end of year events. The most known duo from this era is Trouble Maker (Hyuna, a member of 4 Minute & Jan Hyunseung, from boy group BEAST). There's also Urban zakapa (focused more vocally) 3rd Gen : Kard, AKMU, Triple H (Hyuna EDawn & Hui) , the famous duo now is Hyuna & Dawn In the 1st Gen, there were several more coed groups, as at the time dancing n singing is still a new thing, as the choreo is still much more simple. Ever since 3rd gen groups, idol groups races to have more complex choreos, therefore it makes it kind of difficult for the choreo to match masculin, strong with a girly cute dance moves. Thus, coed groups tends to focus more vocally (except for Hyuna's coed groups, as she's an idol also, so the duo is a complate package, vocal, rap n dance )

Kpop does have a co-ed group. Try KARD, the members consist of two girls and two boys. There's also Triple H, which already disbanded but have released some good songs. The two members of Triple H, Dawn and HyunA, are a couple and is active as a duo. Try their song Ping Pong. You can also try listening to a song by your favorite, SMTOWN, it's a song called ZOO sung by 4 boy members of NCT and one girl member of Aespa. The girl member is Giselle she is the one you like from Forever and Savage, the one wearing a PANTERA shirt. edit: just wanna add AKMU, they're a brother-sister tandem. Their songs are on the mellow acoustic side tho, but they're super good especially with the vocals.
