The music doors aren't trial and error. They're super intuitive even if you don't know how to read music. Each note on the wall is either in the line or on a bar and each note going up on the scale are the buttons from left to right. You only ever need to use QWERTYU as all the notes can be played with just that top row of notes.

Best tip for early game is the drills can mine ANYTHING that's not "indestructible". Got a wall type you're not strong enough for? Drill. want to move one of those way points? Drill. (That one requires more than one drill actually.)

You can use a smelter instead of a chest for the advanced drilling station you made so that the ore will already be bars when you go to collect them.

i feel like the advanced mining would also include a smelter etc so you don’t have to smelt later it’s already done or a conveyor belt that goes to the nearest waypoint so you don’t have to go nearly as far, with a grabber and chest right there and my favorite is having multiple conveyor belts from multiple ores going to a waypoint where i use various smelters and grabbers to melt down and then sort them into a single chest

Fireball Staff can also be farmed with the corrupted mage (i forgot) boss or if lucky, you can get one from iron chests.

Good tips for the beginner. If you make tips for further into the game, please consider including the 'Stormbringer'. It is by far the best crowd control weapon and is also great for killing bosses, it is ranged but does melee damage at 5 attacks per second, and the attacks jump to all nearby enemies. It pairs excellent with the Solarite armor / lifesteal set. My current build heals for 37 life on each hit. As soon as I started getting Solarite ore, I decided to venture out into The Passage, and used the Rift Lens to juke the enemies paired with a ranged weapon to kill them. At first I was just doing death runs with nothing but my hotbar so I wouldn't need to go back for my body. Once I realized I could just blink past the mobs with the rift lens, they became much easier to kill. Ran around until I found a Rift Statue, and took it home with me. Farmed up the 50 cytoplasm from the mobs and the 100 pandorium and Solarite bars to upgrade the Obliteration ray to the Stormbringer. This weapon almost feels like cheating. It is just amazing.

Hoes can destroy ground slime and those X's on the ground! Bring them, they're way better than shovels for that!
