In this episode we take a look at the next two New!! Mini Verse Appliances!!! We open a Juice capsule to find the lemon / lemonade machine! Then we open a Boba Milk Tea capsule to find the peach boba tea machine! We also revisit the espresso machine in order to troubleshoot the problems we had with it in our previous review of the Make it Mini Appliances! We end up using it to make a Cafe Latte from Cafe Series 1!

The reason that the espresso machine won't work if the bottle is pushed in too far is because no air can get up into the bottle as the resin is coming out. This creates a vacuum and stops the flow of resin. This is the same reason that big bottles of liquid like soda make a "glugging" noise and the bottle sucks in and out when they're poured quickly. I'm on the fence about getting the appliance sets and so this problem is good to know when considering rather to buy them. The main one I want to get is the ube boba and I would hate to get the fluorescent pink one instead. I guess it's always an option to use clear UV resin purchased separately and dye it but that feels like it shouldn't be necessary to get the right "peach" color.

Yes! There doesn't seem to be enough air getting into the bottle via those appliance holes alone. I do believe the pink was an error because in the image on the collector's guide and on the display box, the cup of peach boba is definitely peach in color. 😕

Darker/opaque resins need a LOT more time under the UV light. UV resin literally needs the UV light to even cure or else it just stays as a liquid. Some of the new series 3 minis have a slight issue of you needing the resin to cure in places where the light won't even touch it, making them problematic. That's also why some people that made the darker/opaque resin pies (looking at you pumpkin pie, lol) in one large resin glob ended up having uncured resin in the middle of the pie. Layers are the way to go

Oh boy! Having seen some of those uncured pies is why I'm extra concerned about curing the resin thoroughly enough! Thanks for the feedback about the darker resin--it makes a LOT of sense, so I'll definitely keep it in mind!

I had to cut down my whip cream dollop as well. But it’s so soft. I was able to do it very easily with an X-Acto blade.

I love the idea of these for my doll house but I didn’t use the appliances to make the drinks. I just made them like I normally would.

I didn't use the machine either as I was worried about not being able to clean the resin out properly and so just made it the usual way without the machine, cute idea though.

Man, I’m not really a fan of the juice and soda machines. I really like the Boba but I really wanted the Ube. I just got mine yesterday and it was peach as well. I guess I’ll just use my Creamsicle resin instead. I swear I thought you would use the press and seal.

@@DivaDiorama I haven’t even bothered to look cause everybody’s peach boba resin seems to be a strange irradiated watermelon pink 🤮 that’s why I didn’t want it. The ube looks amazing. I want it so I can pretend it’s taro. lol

I think they're just called bread clips. How fun are these machines though? I really hope my store gets them soon. Love how you clipped the little bit out of the whipped cream for the straw. I always wondered how that would look if someone did it that way. I like it.

Honestly, I don't know how else you'd do it, unless you have the level of the liquid in that mug sit a bit lower--below that narrowed "lip." I guess the other option would be to have the whipped cream sit at an angle, which don't fly with me at all! LOL!
