No, in NY you can drive alone if you are 18 with a drivers license. At 16 you can get your permit which allows you to be able to drive with a person over 21 with a license in the car.

20 isnt old to me but it all depends on how u look at it. why do u think 20 is old? when i was 20 i moved back in with my mom. and then went to KY for college, after that got on my own and now im living on my own. you can still do the same stuff when you turn 20. i mean look at the older ones they r acting like fools as if they r teenagers still. it's a crime shame how adults act these days.

I just turned 20 on the 19th .. you aren't going to feel any difference until someone actually asks "how old are you?" & you slip up and try to say 19..then remember BAM ! I'm not a teen anymore lol
