If anyone heard him say "spazzing out" at 5:08 and you were at all shocked, then I'm guessing you're from the UK or Ireland, or at the very least you're European. Just so you know, "spazz/spazzed/spazzing" DOES NOT mean the same thing in the United States and IS NOT a slur over here. Here are the top 3 definitions of the word "spazz" in the USA: 1. (noun) An awkward or clumsy person. verb (used without object) spazzed, spaz·zing: 2. To move in an awkward or clumsy way (usually followed by "out," i.e. "spazzed out"). 3. To become more angry than a situation warrants (usually followed by "out," i.e. "spazzed out"). In this particular video, Gambado was using the 2nd definition of spazzing out to mean the NPC was moving awkwardly & erratically. A parallel example of this phenomenon would be how in the US, the word "f@g" is a slur, regardless of its use. Whereas in the UK or Ireland, asking someone for a "fag" is NOT a slur because you're just asking someone for a cigarette. "Spazz" is the same to the US as "fag" is to the UK and Ireland. Hopefully that clears up any confusion! Also, the reason I left this comment preemptively is because I actually saw a comment on a totally different video (that was notably made by an American KZbinr) just a couple days ago, who also happened to use the word, "spazzed" to mean someone "freaked out." When I went to briefly look at comments, I noticed someone who commented: "Are we REALLY still using the word "spazz" in 2024? 🙄" The replies were all confused with 1 person talking about censorship and a couple other people generally confused about why that person was even upset by that word since it's not a slur in the US lol. I left a reply explaining this with those definitions. The last part of my comment though, I gave them back a little bit of their judgemental attitude by saying: "I'm actually surprised, really, since it's usually people from the US who get mad about something they don't understand due to their ignorance about someone else's culture! Lol."
@AurorasAura44178 ай бұрын
That's actually super interesting from the perspective of an American because I used the term spaz today, casually, and didn't even notice him saying it because it's just a normal word to me. I know in the back of my mind it's a horrible term to Brits/Europeans but it just *isn't* to me. But yeah, for me and most Americans it's just sudden chaotic movement, I usually associate it with someone or something flailing around on the ground, the context I used it in today was describing how my dog tripped and fell and struggled to recover on the hardwood floor.

Thanks for the clarification there, I had no idea it had that sort of definition in the UK!! I'll keep this in mind in the future and make it clear I'm using the US definition. I'll pin the comment so other's can see it in case anyone has the thought that I was using it in the derogatory way.

@@Dizzula I understand you're probably just hoping to avoid further misconceptions but this would be closer to censorship. The word, when used with it's US definition, isn't anything to worry about. Not really an Easter Egg, but when I was a very young child, I played this educational game called "3D Dinosaur Adventure". In it, there was this mini-game called "Save The Dinosaurs," where you went around a maze trying to find different dinosaurs, but there was a chance to get jumpscared by a .png of a raptor. Looking back to it, the jumpscare is pretty tame, but it was still kind of spooky for younger me. You were also shown a cutscene of a meteor about to hit Earth and told that all of the dinosaurs would die, which was pretty bleak.

I've always assumed Bane grabbing the Titan crate was the canonical ending as in Arkham City we see him hoarding Titan whereas the other two have no associations with Titan not only in their future appearances, but even in Arkham Asylum aren't associated with the Titan plotline. While I suppose it's possible that Scarecrow used Titan to improve his fear toxin, I don't really buy that as there's nothing to support that other than an educated guess. Also Titan is never seen in Arkham Knight in any other form. Bane is the most likely candidate.

I feel like you could do a video or multiple on the cool stuff in the Arkham Batman games. You do seem to enjoy them a lot.

A creepy moment for me, personally, is in Knuckles' Chaotix, A.K.A just Chaotix (the better name). If you fail to collect all the Chaos Rings, after completing the final boss, you'll get the bad ending. In this ending, Metal Sonic Kai is floating above a burning city, the main thing is that it's such tonal whiplash. Imagine your one of the few people playing this game when it came out, you finally beat the game, and then suddenly, your greeted to this.

Another thing that is super unexpected and creepy comes from the Undertale fangame, Undertale Yellow. In Undertale Yellow, there are 3 routes, Pacifist, Genocide (or, as I call it, "Justice" route), and the main topic, Neutral. In the Neutral route, at the tail end, you have to meet one of the main characters, Martlet. During this cutscene, Martlet is asking you to stay with her, but Flowey doesn't like this and unexpectedly stabs her for no reason. Already, a pretty big thing, after the first phase, you are transported to a creepy version of the second room in Snowdin. At first you seem to find Martlet, but, for one frame of her hugging animation, her face becomes hollow, after a teeny bit more dialogue, Martlet's face becomes a black abyss as she melts into some sort of... Determination goo? Then you have the final phase of the Flowey fight, and those petal phases look horrifying.

Only problem with the Sly Cooper easter egg is that Clockwerk is still a robot owl in the caveman level, (who's supposed to be the first Cooper). Would be cool if he was a live owl in that level

Considering there was a tease of a Sly Cooper 5 which has Sly in Ancient Egypt which is when the Thievious Racoonus was created and Bentley's love interest Penelope who betrayed them has knowledge of time travel blue prints, odds are that Penelope will time travel and team up with Clockwork in Sly Cooper 5, maybe she is the one that helped Clockwork obtain the metal body that he slowly replaced himself with over eons.

Hey, thanks for taking critique and improving, even if the internet is harsh. A lot of content creators have incredibly fragile egos and dont understand that when a crowd is critiquing you, a lot of them dont have manners. It's nice to see some improvement while ignoring all the dumb repetitive criticisms in the comments for a change

One that genuinely creeped me out when i was young was the Hell Valley Sky Tree creatures in Super Mario Galaxy 2. If you look up at the top of the mountains at a certain point in the Shiverburn Galaxy there are four creatures staring back at you. Hackers found you can't get any closer to them by flying so they're a part of the map or skybox. They're believed to be either inspired by the Japanese folklore tree creatures named Kodama or skinwalkers. I found them thanks to DYKG back when i was 12 and when i found them in-game myself i completely freaked out because I genuinely thought it was some sort of entity haunting the game (silly to talk about looking back on it). I know its an Easter egg now but I still think it's creepy.
