Nice review for the new 2024 Ninja 450/500, thanks! This new 500 has more torque as its advantage over the 400 I hear, with slightly more HP. The Red/black design looks cool. I started many years ago on a Ninja 250R, which surprisingly was able to handle freeways without any issues. I put 36,000 miles on it before trading it in for a '21 Ninja 650, which is also fun with more torque/hp with a range of 200 miles from a full tank to refill with maybe 15 miles to spare before completely empty. If I was starting out in 2024, this Ninja 500 would probably be my first choice as these smaller displacement bikes are great on fuel range.

It's so cool that you have probably the first few 2024 ninja 500 videos in the US. Such a great looking bike, even if kawasaki's should be green! Still debating if I want to buy one of these or an r7 (im a sucker for yamaha's even if the ninja is better deal for the $$)

I wouldve shot for a 21/22 ZX-6r, but being a really small rider is keeping me in the beginner class of bikes. If you have experience and have the physical build to ride in a higher class I would do so. Whatever you end up with with I hope youre content and ride safe!

Nice bike! As I understand it this engine is the same as the 400 but the stoke has been increased by I think 6mm giving it a bit more torque. Anyhow enjoy the new bike. Stay safe.

I'm not a tuner, but I imagine this could be tuned for a lot more power. They had to keep it under A2 license limits.

The rear light looks like the same set up as the 400. The high pitch screech was probably the truck that wasnt parked too far from me. The bike was off this entire video except for the riding portion

Tough to say, I havent ridden it for more than one hour at a time. The gas tank for the beginner class tends to be shorter than a 600cc, so youre not leaning too far forward.

Someone, please tell me how to move the mirrors I tried, but I'm not sure because it's my first bike

I usually adjust so the bottom inner corner (both sides) can see the very back of my bike (i can see part of my arm) and angle it up enough to see lane lines and cars. You should be able to see a lane or two width wise. When you come to a stop at a redlight or something thats when its best to adjust your mirrors. You should be able to see all lanes of a two lane, two way road. Hope that makes sense. Quite honestly mirrors arent that practical, there are some riders that just go without it. Becuz you end up just turning your neck to switch lanes and thats all you really need. Mirrors is just a safety standard for inspection and like companies have to put them on there.

I understand it costs a little more but as for myself, I currently own 2023 Ninja 400 ABS, I got bored of it in less than 6 months of ownership. Im 4’10” 130lbs, 425lbs and a 32.7in seat height is a little hard to manage. Im taking my time moving up because i hear too many stories of people getting bikes too powerful for them to handle. The zx-6r is the next bike i plan to move to. Im happy that you got bored riding a 400, im sure open freeways are easy at every level, 1000+. It doesnt take much to just open up on throttles. I wish you best of luck on your riding journey and hope you enjoy higher level bikes. Ride safe.

I’m most likely getting a r3 as my first bike and I already know some alpha Chad lame ass is gonna stop next to me at a light and tell me I’m on a girls bike 😂 but honestly I don’t care what others think . Don’t lower the ninja 500, use the one leg down technique, that’s enough!! Look at short people video that still ride even if they can’t touch flat foot. You can wear boots that might give you an inch!! Ride safe!

They really should have named it the Ninja 451, IMHO. They went with 500 for marketing reasons, bigger number and all, but it's kind of sneaky. But like she said, she didn't name it. Regardless, it looks like a great bike. I was thinking about getting a Ninja 400, but this looks even better.

I keep hearing this. This was a common Kawasaki color back in the day. Look at the Ninja 250 from the late 80s to early 90s. Same color scheme.
