Air gun technology has come a long way, but I really wish the prices could come down a bit... These things are still more expensive than traditional firearms, and also require a lot of accessories such has air pumps, extra tanks, etc. I'm finding prices on this item in the $1,100 range, which is a bit hard to swallow for an air gun.

It's a bit hard to swallow for an airgun like this. For $1100 dollars you can get way way way more bang for your buck though and actually leave feeling satisfied with the purchase. This is just an expensive gimmick though so it's hard to justify the price to anybody

Compressor, tank, gun, about 2500. My Daisy 415 shoots 510 fps. Cost $35 bucks with 500 .175 steel BB's 3 co2 cartridges, and pair of yellow tinted safety glasses

Still gotta give it to the Huben GK1, the Huben in a smaller .25 round puts out more than twice the FPE....I just saw a shortened barrel and air tube version of the Huben (shorter barrel will lower your FPS and thus your FPE) that was still putting out over 60 FPE

Im pretty close to getting the 25cal GK1, but now Im considering maybe getting the Evanix 30cal Viper instead. Ive already got the Viper 25cal, but it appears that the 30cal performs better. Aahhh I dont know what to get...this has me confused! Thanks Ben, great video...well done.

I have the huben .25 its def a lot more powerfull. You only need to have good pellets or slugs that arent loose fit in the magazine. Because that is the cause of jamming in some cases. I had 1 jam and i managed to fix it by open up the gun and take the magazine out. The huben also has a lot more shots in 1 magazine (17) for .25 and the barrel is probably a bit longer with helps with the power and accuracy. I use a glide on mount that i printed from thingiverse to switch between a reddot and a small 4x scope.

Other reviews and tests I have seen show the GK1 .25cal clearly out-performing the Evanix .30 Viper. I expect that the GK1 will be available sometime in the near future in a .30cal version. I am waiting for that before committing to any of these great weapons.

It really likes those aea 45 grainers I was using at the time and I had also gotten a little bit better behind the trigger after having some practice
