Tried building a kit up from scratch for the first time in Superior Drummer. The snare I settled on was great for punch, but it had no ring so I searched for another snare that had a good ring. Found one but it didn’t have much punch so I stacked it with the other. I guess two different snares aren’t the same thing as this, but kind of the same concept

Kristian when and how much are they going to cost for the Karnivore speakers going to be available. I have a 4-12 Fender top box that I want to replace the speakers in. I will be driving it mainly with a Brit/Plexi 45 kit amp that I got from StewMac.

We keep making things in dense metal mixes bigger -- why? Sorry, it is fatiguing to listen to these contemporary records, especially because of the compression and distortion. The principle that less is more has been lost. I want a non-taxing mix so that I can enjoy the great songs. Judas Priest's Defenders of the Faith, Slayer's South of Heaven, Crue's Shout at the Devil, or King Diamond's the Eye are production approaches that I am talking about.
